Xeno is just so lame in terms of how hyped of an IP Alien is. Just runs around with a tail attack that is incredibly boring to use and play against, decent map traversal and the footsteps from survs in the tunnels are interesting. The killer isn't done too well thematically, just feels like a very vanilla bland killer. There could've been an interesting dynamic with implementing face huggers into gameplay as a xenomorph, possibly taking a chapter out of another asymmetrical game like Dragon Ball Breakers and making Xenomorph start out AS face huggers that are spawned around the map and then have to infect one of the survivor's (so you dont just instantly mori them) to level up into a low level xenomorph that would have a tail attack, low map traversal and decent run and vault speed. Then maybe after mori'ing a survivor as a low level xenomorph you evolve into the queen xenomorph, has the ability to let face huggers roam around the map, possibly have a low level xenomorph that can patrol an area or just alert you. Just some more stuff that screams that this is an Alien chapter cuz for me atleast it kinda fell flat considering how well of a job BHVR did with unknown and vecna. Just a rough idea n stuff

His terror radius should have been the motion tracker beeps, his map should have been an indoor Nostromo map, and the power should have been anything more interesting than a tale whip.

I love the xeno and playing as it; but it was a huge let down when considering how hype it was for everyone.

They nerfed xenos missed tail attacks too hard. Learned my lesson to wait a month or two before buying any liscensed characters. Always games releasing strong stuff then nerfing it after they'v sold enough

All these games cost at least $100 minimum to enjoy games even if free in Playstore. Makes no sense having any add-ons cost more than $5. It's all greed now for these companies.

He shoudl've had instead of the tunnels or the crawler mode face huggers eggs like you down a survivor and you have like special kind of hooks that after some time you get facehugged and you have to find an antidote or an extraction thing or you get chestbursted after a timer goes to zero like the pig masks that would've been much better than what we got or maybe in the crawler mode he didn't only have the tail attack but the jump and a charge attack

I think Ripley I would have bought her skin if she looked like the real actress but it's nothing like her I know they couldn't get her likeness but it is why I haven't bought her

Honestly, watching the Alien films (especially the recently released Romulus) makes you realize how important Facehuggers are to the Xenomorph's intimidating presence. The character would be MUCH more popular if there was some interaction with the facehuggers or alien eggs we see in the movies. Someone should start an online petition for Behavior to do a rework, similar to what happened with Freddy.

It’s not America’s fault that people in crappy countries make poverty wages.

That’s just an example of some cultures being better than others.

In other words: Behavior had every right to charge $12 for it and it doesn’t matter if people in crappy countries can’t afford it.

They should be focusing on making their crappy countries better countries and then they can afford it too.

But don’t ever dare to call America “privileged”.

Europe is privileged in that America keeps it safe.

For example Switzerland is privileged that America defends it so they can waste their money on the socialist garbage.


America isn’t privileged at all. Everything Americans have they earned and then some. Americans will not feel “privileged* for being harder workers with better ideas and more freedom than anywhere else in history.

And Americans will not apologize for having a superior culture to people in crappy countries.

I love the Alien franchise and when they realesed the Alien chapter i was hooked. My only two problems was the map and the Xenomorph itself. I know why they made the nostromo map the way it is, bc of the tight and small halways the ship has it would be impossible to play as a survivor and win. That's why I think they could have taken a diffrent map like hadleys hope. It would make more sense for an outside map and the halways woulden't be so narrow and tight. Now the Xenomorphs power was a let down bc I was hoping for something more stealth like or something to do with it's facehugger like similiar to the pigs power. For example he could have like traps like eggs that he can spawn upp to two. If a survivor get's close the egg oppens and a facehugger grabs the survivor. Then you get into a knocked out state were you need to wait 45 secounds. After that you have the alien inside and you need to find something like a med station to remove, like the pig if you don't get there in time you die and a alien chestburster comes out.

I will say when Alien was announced i was so excited as both Alien and Predator are my favorite sci fi killers, i honestly had no issue with it honestly asides the ptb chase theme and my boy being repetitive at times. I played Resident Evil survivors up until Nick Cage's release so i didn't see a problem with Ripley. I know likeness are hard to get for actors, also comparing the likeness thing to 2 video game characters felt unfair to me

I knew the mori had to be the iconic headbite and i am happy to see the Facehugger got an easter egg on the map

As for cosmetics i think they are the best killer cosmetics we gotten in a while, (i freaked out when i saw Grid confirming Predator's inclusion soon)

I agree with the rating you gave though 7 out of ten, it's not a perfect chapter but it definitely is underrated and the hate was more likely due to high expectations

For me I've felt like alien has always been in the game, even though it's relatively new. And while I enjoy the chapter it's nothing like expected.

Knowing BHVR the only reason that standing stance exists to say "you're not in your power, you suck" is because they didn't want another killer that can teabag survivors.

So, would the Alien Chapter been more popular if it released after the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game?

I wish the tail wasn't purely stance based, because imo, while seeing it crawl is eerie, seeing it chase and patrol standing up was much scarier to look at. A shame that 90% of the matches vs Xeno you'll see it on all fours.

Alien made me interested in dbd and I still love playing as the xenomorph queen

The Xeno is definitely one of my favorite killers. One of my favorite horror movies and one of my favorite monster designs. Ripley and Xeno also have some of the best perks

well at least we’re getting Rain Carradine from Alien Romulus as a legendary for Ripley, and hopefully she will have Cailee Spaeny’s likeness.
But, if she does get her likeness, that would make it possible for us to get Sigourney Weaver’s likeness

Can you talk about how all things wicked is the best original chapter or atleast one of the best original chapters?

I thought Xenomorph's attack felt very nice on the PTB. The only problem was that the hitbox didn't match the visual effect, but you got used to it. I probably played Xeno more than I've played any other killer on a PTB. I only lost most of my excitement after its release, when they nerfed the helmet addon and the movement speed during the tail attack recovery.

I'd also like to add that the alien's design isn't very accurate to the movie either. I'm an alien superfan so seeing such a lazy redesign is pretty disappointing. The only thing they really got right was the mouth/front of the face.

I don't know why it's so unplayed. I love both Alien and Ellen in the game!

they created a facehuger in the xenomoprh map but the damn facehuger is not actually a thing he uses

Hot take, the PTB chase music is leagues better and more thematic than the live one

I feel like what made me disappointed in the chapter was the tail getting nerfed to being buggy and clunky after release

It’s definitely the power is what’s making people not play Xeno. It just doesn't feel like how the 1979 Alien would act. In the trailer we saw the Xenomorph on High alert, slamming itself against walls and rushing towards Ripley. It felt like the xenomorph is doing it’s all to try and kill her. But in the game he’s just like “Hehe…Poke.” I wish they had taken extra time to go with the wall-crawling mechanic they came up with.

I will still fight and die on the hill of thematic accuracy of that PTB chase theme. Had they just levelled the audio a bit so that it wasn't clanging in your ears at top volume, I would've been so much more intimidated and excited getting chased by Xeno's. Now it just feels like I'm being chased by a less impressive Wesker orchestra.

They really should've added random facehugger eggs around the map. If you get too close to them then a facehugger shoots onto your face like Victor.

Light Footed has been on my inventory since the day it came out! I am a flashbang-firecracker person, so using light footed gave me the potential to get saves a lot!
This perk is so good if you know how to use it. Not only can you easily get saves, but also make the killer lose you in chase. (It's just like the quiet mode in this event)
Killers can't hear you at all, especially since BHVR seems to love making footsteps very loud on various surfaces.

I personally love the chapter itself and xeno too I love how the power works especially with the tunnels. The tail attack doesn't feel that too difficult to hit tho the hitboxes are a little bit wonky but I personally find it very easy to land especially mid chase and I know a lot of people like to have a switch stand between crawler or not but in the movies the xenomorphs crawl a lot that just how they work so xeno just staying permanently Crawling in the game is very fitting. Everything in this chapter is perfect in my opinion. But there is one big issue that I have about it Is that the old chase theme is much better than the new one y'all are crazy to think that the old one was s***. Yes I know that the old one does sound like windshield wipers that really do need to be replaced but for the love of the alien franchise have you seen the movies and how the theme in the movies work. The old one just sounds more intense like if you're being chased by the perfect organism the new one is very good but just not fitting for the xenomorph cause the xenomorph is not supposed to be like a final boss battle like Wesker it's a alien monster.

As a big fan of Alien, I was super hype we were finally getting it. Ultimately I'm disappointed, the more you play it the more you realize it's just a M1 killer with a removable nemesis tentacle attack. Even sadeko teleport is infinitely better than the aliens tunnel system. Its so dissapointing for such a big IP to have such "meh" to it when they could have done way more.
