ОтветитьNo government, no crony capitalism!
ОтветитьSimultaneously the smallest man and the biggest brain in the room.
ОтветитьIt's a shame how much we hear about Kaynes and Krugman and so little we hear about Milton Friedman. The education system and media as a whole are agents of big government.
ОтветитьCollege macro econ classes incorporate plenty of Friedman's ideas. Of course, I'd love it if they'd incorporate even more than they already do. :)
ОтветитьOf course. They believe in big gov't, in central planning. So they will pick and choose those economists - no matter how bad or discredited their ideas are - and ram them down the throats of students and the ignorant public.
ОтветитьI was just listening to a whole podcast from Walter Williams about this. He explains it best that this type of cronyism can only occur when corporations and big government get together. It's antithetical to freedom and the free markets.
ОтветитьThis is what "speaking truth to power" actually looks like.
