It does work actually. At first I thought I had a problem with the drivers, as even after installing them manually I did not see a new port even with hidden devices selected in device manager. So, I just chose COM1 and ran the upload. It asks to install the board so I unplugged it and reinserted it and it worked just fine and the sketch worked as it should. I hope this helps someone else here.

BEWARE OF THE CLONES THAT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PIN 5. On some of the clone (most I've found) Pin has a problem with the Reset Flag not set right, so every time Pin 5 goes LOW it resets the whole board! Does this board have that problem?

If you have Windows 10, forget about the USB serial. If there is a USB bootloader on the chip in the first place (there might not be), Windows 10 will still never be able to install the correct drivers. It's simply not compatible. Windows needs to be able to detect the ATtiny for it to work in ArduinoIDE, but it will show up in device manager as unknown USB device with the error message "device description request failed". I have tried to install so many drivers for this, spent over a week to get it to work. It simply will not work because the drivers are incompatible. Fear not, if this happened to you, you can still use the board. What you need to do is use an Arduino as ISP. Search for "programming ATtiny85 using Arduino as ISP". What you need to do is upload the ISP scetch onto your Arduino and connect the pins of your ATtiny board to some of the pins on your Arduino board. The Arduino will act as a ISP (In-circuit Serial Programmer) and upload the scetches through serial programming.
