RTW are my initials
ОтветитьGreat video for RTW prep. Thank You
ОтветитьQuality, lightweight, terrific value.
ОтветитьGreat Vid, exactly the ride I'm working up to, no world tripe for me, but I want to see more of Australia before I get too old. Finally, some decent non-restrictive radiator guards. Who made them ? Cheers.
ОтветитьHow much was the total cost minus the camera related stuff?
ОтветитьNice bike !
ОтветитьI wouldn’t have the balls to take a bike like this om such a big trip.
Maintenance maintenance maintenance
Damn I love these deep thoughts about usage and actually the overall look of the motorbike. BUT as I really ask myself if this thing is really road worthy. I know the US has much lower standards and you can build basically free, but as soon as you enter countries like Germany, I'm not sure it's road legal to drive. What is your thoughts on this? I'm really curious as I d like to copy your rebuilt, but only if it's street legal everywhere too. Thanks man!
ОтветитьTreasure trove of great info, things to think about and common sense features. Thanks for posting!
ОтветитьHi Paul, thanks for the great video. So how much did it cost you to do all the mods and where are you now?
ОтветитьSo what is then cycle for oil change if is not after 15 hours like is in the book
ОтветитьWhere did you get the skid/tool box?
ОтветитьI did notice you don't have a guard for your front sprocket...you might want to change that...just saying. 😊
ОтветитьWet weight? Reliability?
ОтветитьI don't understand it... It's not street legal in many countries. You can not possibly avoid travelling on highways at least sometimes. Your map showed that you're going through Russia. It's not street legal there. How do you manage to avoid being arested?
ОтветитьWent to the website. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing. You certainly know how to live.
Ответитьthis is the kind of bike you NEED for the zombie apocalypse. Beautiful.
ОтветитьThanks very much Paul! Very informative video. Many precise details! May I go more in detail with service intervalls for it? Do you extend the oil service to how many kilometers? Are you going up to 5000km for oil exchange? And what's about motor internal things? Engine mounts, piston, etc.? Yours
ОтветитьWhat gearing do you use? I plan on doing the same but to a 450EXC
ОтветитьGreat video! I was set on the 155kg Enduro R but really want something (a lot) lighter, this seems to really fit that. My only concern is the maintenance schedule but i've seen on your (and others) videos that you really don't need to worry about oil until close to 2,000km, so that is not a concern, and longevity seems to be a non-issue either. Just need to sit on one and see if my 5'10 32" insem can handle it..
ОтветитьOf course it is the best bike of them all, everything was exchanged, even the hoses... really?
ОтветитьHave you done any videos like this on your DR650? Love to know the mods you made on that. What worked, what didnt work
ОтветитьGreat looking bike. I'm thinking of doing something similar but have never owned a dirt bike before. How often do you clean and replace the air filter with that kind of riding?
ОтветитьIs there a method to increase oil capacity (larger clutch cover, external tank/cooler)?
ОтветитьReally really nice upgrades. I really like the Graphics also. I’m guessing you have a way to carry extra Fuel? That’s incredible traveling around the World, but I think I would pass on Siberia right now. Good luck on your Trip, the World isn’t as safe as it used to be. 👍❤️🇺🇦
ОтветитьThank you sir for sharing all this amazing information based on your experience and needs!! Finally a well informative video. Enjoy and have safe travels!
ОтветитьI salute you sir!
ОтветитьI`m 6`1 what size should I order?
ОтветитьIt's incredible, actually, this almost EXACTLY the same year bike, same rally tower, wheels, even same luggage, that I was thinking of building, but ended up going with a 1970 Honda Trail 90 instead.
ОтветитьGreat video and lovely bike, sorry if its been mentioned in the comments, but what brand are your fold out Mirrors?
ОтветитьDamn, NICE build man!!!!!
ОтветитьWhat does it weigh wet (sans luggage)?
ОтветитьYour gearing is perfect i tried it today on my 16 😉
ОтветитьHello, What did you do for engine maintenance?thank
ОтветитьI think 90% of the mods are unnecessary, even for "your style of riding". And that's before talking about costs, weight, time and the additional bolts and nuts to take care of.
ОтветитьADVrider sucks...the foreign Stasi-KGB moderators ban everyone that's good...
ОтветитьNice bike, great video. Just got my 500 and starting to trick it out. You don't happen to have a list/link of the items you installed? Thx!
ОтветитьGreat video.Thanks
ОтветитьAwesome video! Thanks for all the great info! I’ll definitely be watching more of your videos. So how does it work with international drivers license? Have you ever had any problems riding through different countries. It seems like it might be complicated with registration. I just bought a bike in southern Vietnam and I’m about to ride to the northern part of the country and maybe several more countries after that.
ОтветитьHi, do you have a link where you’ve bought the foldable mirrors? Thanks!
ОтветитьDid you balance the wheels ? How’s the highway with them ?
ОтветитьInteresting build up. I can't help but think a KTM 690 overall would be better suited to extreme long distance off road touring. You'd get much improved maintenance schedules and a stronger platform without too much added weight.
Ответитьbeautiful choices ! i hope you re doing well !
ОтветитьMost of us can't afford this dudes boots and helmet..
ОтветитьThere is no ultimate bike for anything. The heavier the bike the harder to manage off-road. The more gear speeds the better.
Ответитьmore money than skill
Ответитьcheers Paul. ive got a 500 to, where did you get your cush drive from? see ya when you come to NZ.
ОтветитьHope your having a ball on such a dream machine 🤞
It was interesting that yo changed gearing to 15/48. What was this like off road ?
Did you gain torque and longer gears, 1 , 2, 3rd ?
I have a 14 Husaberg FE 501 and was thinking of emulating your bike build.
At 1.42 is that Llanganuco ?
ОтветитьI don't see him shine can this motorcycle enter the city?
Ответить
