I am using windows 10 22H2. I can't use my Alesis Q mini midi. I am not the only one having the same problem. It seems windows 10 midi/usb is the main culprit. Will windows 11 solve the problem?

Clip champ looks great. I used to love windows movie maker. How does it compare with ipad's video editing app.

I'll be happy to try all these "amazing" new features once MS fixes the damn installer for 22H2. I've gotten nothing but an install error every time I try to install.

As for the actual update, I personally got more issues (slow or not working login) than benefits so rolled back to 21H2 and not planning to upgrade.

The scrollbar in Start menu All apps is too thin, hard to use and doesn't follow system size settings (in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\ScrollWidth", etc.). Please keep in mind that some people can't use scroll wheel (which is not a necessary control and it may be broken) and in some cases scroll wheel is less efficient than scroll bars.

How can I disable the snap layouts splitter? The splitter (gray drag bar) between snapped windows partially overlaps left padding of inactive File Explorer window, so it is very difficult to click that empty space to activate the window or open background context menu, or clear current selection. Also, this splitter looks very annoying. I'd like to disable this splitter overlay without disabling the Snap feature.

Why did you remove item counter in File Explorer groups? The number of items in groups is no longer displayed in their headers as well as group dividers. I need to perform extra steps to find out how many elements are in the group. You call it improvement

If windows 11 is better than 10, don't remove things that expert users use ...... bring back movability of the task bar to left/top/right of the screen .... Listen.

Windows are getting better all the time. Intel chips hardware that are getting hot and throttling, is the only downside to it... :(
And that's forcing a lot of people to Apple's superb hardware but totally restricted OS. :(

The new start menu is so lacking, it's sad. I went with a 3rd party tool to replace the start menu and never looking back. I'm stuck with the stock start menu on the work PC and it's awful. Just pin everything to the taskbar and forget the start menu exists, it almost doesn't anyway.

I still don1t understand why on Earth we can't use any size for subtitles there's only 4 option and neither of them are good basically because those are either too large or too small. They should add a real font sizes like in any other editing software.

They should add cpu temp in task manager

There’s another feature that I didnt see here. They added Tabs in the file explorer like in the web apps. You can now open more than one folder in the same Window.

I have a legion 5 laptop, and some of my texts though I changed the scaling option, were always blurry. All those issues are fixed in this update, and my graphic performance in hybrid mode is better.

what i REALLY NEED HELP WITH is how to get win11 to STOP randomly shutting my laptop off and/or sleep, do NOT mention, power plans, temperature readings, or any of that. It does this cold, only on a few mins, a few hours, sometimes a whole DAY, hot or warm, lots of apps, high cpu usage or hardly any at all. This SHUTDOWN happens pretty often as in 2-3 times a day, sometimes when im not even home and its off the interweb doing nothing. system Lenovo X1 yoga, i7-7600U CPU @ 2.80GHz generally runs around 3.8 GHz RAM 16.0 GB, samsung nvme 256 G drive ,everything generally up to date, this DID NOT happen under the tried and TRUE win10, thanks.

POP-up and redirects went crazy after update to 22h2. So, after hours of researching and failed attempts to correct the problem, I found out update added "take lessons" to favorites not removable and deactivated all ad blocking, even made its own in edge ineffective.

After the update, my .pdf preview in File Explorer is now a small thumbnail instead of full size. How do I fix this, please!
