Turnd out Nintendo forgot to remove traces of the GameCube out of the software when making the Wii Family Edition, luckily they did remove that with the Wii U and Wii mini.

I found one of those exact models except it was white in a thrift store for about €15 including a really fucked up remote and all its cables, but I already have 2 GameCubes that have GameCube support so I genuinely didn’t really want it. It is the best thing I’ve found at a thrift store so far

Got a Nintendo WII Perfectly working for $25 (at a IRL goodwill)

Just bought a complete wii with all cords, sensor bar, one nunchuk, and a wiimote. Came with disc only copies of wii sports, wii sports resort, and twilight princess. It is a gamecube compatible wii. All for 40 bucks 👍. Seems like a good score, works perfect from what I can tell. My question is how warm should it run and how noisy? I've never owned a wii before.

Dude I recently took a gamble and bought a Wii for 19 dollars on eBay and said “not tested for parts” and it works better than my main Wii so that was pretty sick. And it was GameCube compatible

Brooo i bought a fully functional wii for 15€ and it is very clean, and it was with the cables (ac adapter , composite video and sensor bar), 2 wiimotes and one has the wii motion plus, the stand, 2 games (wii sports and some other game) and even a wheel

I'm from the UK and have a Red Wii and only got it a few months ago Its definitely worth playing it just to mod it, put N64 game's, Gamecube and emulators with Homebrew, honestly alot better than I thought for what this console can actually do... I recommend havjng a modded Wii

HAHAHA i got mine for 5 dollars and like 13 with shipping it had no cords it looks like a child drew on it with a marker it had no controllers and no cover for the GameCube ports.... but it works!

I once got a Wii for (I think) around $20 because the disc drive was broken. Homebrewed it and hooked up my hard drive with games on it and boom

Hey they have amazon renewed console only I just bought one so far so good got it in acceptable condition
