The team did a fantastic job. Hoping to eventually see the same remaster effort given to Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun

This is more like the way I Remember it and like it along with the rest of them that came out before being remastered and destroyed by the other siencetific alien bs

It's amazing how this game is still a fun game 30 years later.

C&C would be awesome in VR

im a sucker for VGA. it looks so amazing. i have a hard time liking the hd remasters. I still bought it and will try but i love the original version. Same thing for Monkey Island: i think the best version is the VGA 256 colors one. it has so much charater, the artworks, animations, etc are just wonderful

Ok, I'm convinced to buy it and experience it for the first time.

As much as people hate on EA (I do too), they are one of the only ones that do remasters/remakes right.

Not my first RTS game but definitely one of the very best!

I play skirmish mode and the biggest issue is the harvesters are thick as shit. This game is great but the pathfinding is broken also. Tanks block the harvesters getting into the refinery

I use a PC with specs from 2008 - Core i7 965 and an RX 580. This game runs at 1080p and 60fps easily with no slowdowns or hitches whatsoever.

Buy this game. No EA Origin as well.

Nowadays RTS are all fantastical and over the top excluding company of heroes xD but there isn't RTS games on this setting basically.... the father of RTS is still the only RTS ever, basically with a current military theme... wtf

Don't get it get OpenRA which is freeware and a lot better than this ** poor attempt at a 4k remake reminds me of the new battlefield hash up, bad controls no control over anything just awful nothing like the original. Wish they would remake 4k C&C renegade as that was a legend game!

This game sucks and is an embarressment to the C&C legacy. The graphics and art work is horrible. No real detail or anything like the originals.

The fact that this game came out under EA of all things is jaw dropping, and I thank it to the fact that EA has been hit hard after their Battlefront II since, well, the consumers actually listened and didn’t buy into it until they improved. Complete 180 turnarounds like this are just straight up impossible with companies like Nintendo or Disney, so we should count our few lucky stars while we still can…

I had these on the original PlayStation back in the day. This is certainly an impressive remaster without a doubt.

anyone know if the remaster will work on windows 7? the steam requirements say windows 8-10 but those arent always super accurate

Doesnt need it quite as much as TD and RA, but I would really quite like this treatment to TS and RA2.

I'm surprised this hasn't come to PlayStation and Xbox. I remember playing on PS1 linked upto 3 of my mates consoles and playing for excessive amounts of time on a 14inch "portable" TV.

tthey chose the wrong game to remaster, they should did the remaster for Red Alert 2 or Generals not this

I got this and actually like playing in the orignal better.

The most shocking fact about this release is that it was commissioned by EA.

everything is amazing except...I can't sell troops with the sandbags which really helps keeping casualties low and getting some reward keeping troops alive.
also don't see a mod

EA might not be able to make anything new, but between this and the Mass Effect trilogy, they seem to be good at the remaster thing.

I played Red Alert and og C&C to death on Playstation 1 with my friends. We spliced the pathetically short link cable (my friend was a Radio Shack enthusiast) to 60 feet so we could play in different rooms. Probably one of my favorite gaming experiences in my life. This remaster is a love-letter to the original!

Wish I could find Playstation type controls for this on my Steam Deck.. probably exists. 😢+🤓=😄😁

Back in 97 I think, I went to this after school program in middle school where you just hung out. DOOM 2 was still all the rage and the teacher was suspicious of computer games. I brought in C&C TD to see if he was against it. I snuck in an install on one of the computers and started playing. To my surprise the teacher approved it. I guess its the strategy aspect that he liked.

I still play C and C generals Zero hour couple times a month. kids hog the ps4's

4k A.I. video remaster is a thing for amateurs. So I'm ofc amazed over that a game studio didn't bother with It. Original Wingcommander 3 video upscaling with A.I. looks amazing for example!!
