What is that pro max soil youre using
ОтветитьI just bought a 24 hours cycle light from amazon and my plants changed in 3 days, really incredible
Ответитьwhat about air filters???
ОтветитьI thought this video was supposed to simplify this process?! Column feeders root feeders, types of substrate??!😩😭 ok I gotta go back and learn some basics lol
ОтветитьGood video, but… let’s be frank, hygger aquariums products are really that type of thing you buy to shave off some cost and later you end up buying the real thing once you discover it. I advise to avoid hygger, and get a good Kessil, ADA or AI (aqua illumination) stuff, you won’t regret!
ОтветитьAquariums and houseplants are a circle of life.
ОтветитьIf you use a soil substrate and top it with sand or gravel, how often do you have to change or clean the soil?
ОтветитьCan i be your friend
ОтветитьI have a question maybe you can help me I have a 75 gallon tank planted tank n I’m tryna figure out what could make my plants grow or maybe cause I don’t have it to get any sun light!!!!
ОтветитьWould live plant survive on sand substrates?
ОтветитьMy tank is an Aqueon 29 gal, the lid has white leds integrated. Does it work or I need to look for red and blue leds?
ОтветитьI have a question. Is it necessary to clean the fish poops deposited in the bottom of the tank in a planted aquarium like yours?
Will it lead to any issue like ammonia spike if I don't clean the fish poops or they will break down and become plant foods?
TIA
"What fish do you have?"
"Oh yeah some of the colorful ones. ANYWAY TAKE A LOOK AT THIS JAVA FERN-"
- Me
i've been using media bags filled with stratum eco complete and crushed coral... then capped with sand and/or gravel... i put those where i know root feeders will be and i use just sand and or gravel where i want open floor space.. the plants will spread in as nutrients (poop) settle into the substrates there, but it starts how i want
ОтветитьLove it but idk how to start small. Just literally planted a 55, and two 29’s because I saw one plant so well 😂
ОтветитьHi dear, i have some questions that im going to going for tetra fish in my new tanks. will you advise for that questions?
ОтветитьWhere are the links in the description
ОтветитьThis video helps me a lot . Thanks 🙏
ОтветитьI have added you to my recommended channel's video l uploaded yesterday 👍🐠🐟💦
ОтветитьWhat was the red plant that she was pulling the rock wool out of the roots?
ОтветитьIs 4000K enough for the lighting?
ОтветитьThank You !
Ответить0 links in description 😅
ОтветитьDo you recommend giving the plants a while to acclimate before introducing fish?
Ответитьhelloo buddy how i can buy used sponge from you for cyle process
ОтветитьHow do you pay your electricity bill
ОтветитьI want to grow duckweed and possibly other aquatic plants to feed my ducks. I want to keep the aquarium outside. I ordered the duckweed but I don’t know what I’m doing. I live in Orlando, FL. Any suggestions/tips?
ОтветитьBeen following your channel for a little bit now but wish I was following you from the beginning dude .Over that little bit of time you have helped me out as I've been keeping fish an plants for a couple years now had a few problems here and there I watched a couple of your videos know my problems have been Fixed thank you 😊
ОтветитьMy mother-in-law has gifted us a tiny 10 litre tank and I am so excited to start with this little project! I'm planning on 4-5 guppies, a shrimp and a snail as well as one statement plant in the centre. Possibly a moss ball or two, but I don't want it to get too crowded!
Ответитьawesome setup mate. you must have a fantastic wet green thumb
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьBro there has to be a cheaper way to do this cuz according to my calculations I would need to spend like 30-50 dollars on a light 50-70 dollars for a new filter shut h comes to around 140 dollars 😩👺😡
ОтветитьGood video but where are the links in the description for the light and soil?
ОтветитьTHANK YOU 😊
ОтветитьI’m new to aquascaping. Love your videos.
ОтветитьYou have a good personality.
ОтветитьI am having a hard time finding the links he advised he would put in the desciption... Has anyone seen them and I am just blind?
ОтветитьGreat advice and instructions were a me amazing 🎉
ОтветитьMy tank crashed because of a pH change after a water change. It's been like 25 days so far and it crashed in multiple ways - pH, bacteria bloom, you name it. My fish turned white, some died, some lived after I put them in my hospital tank, and its a total mess. I have a 75 gallon tank with sand, and I just added a small bag of fluval stratum, and will add another bag when it comes in. I just kind of moved some sand and let some fall down and I have some on the top all mixed. I have 2 big sponge filters that go into the corner and are V shaped with air bubbles attached. Right now I am having to change the water every day because the fluval stratum raised the ammonia. What would you suggest I use to buffer the pH of my water from 6.0 to 7.2-7.4 for my community fish? I dont want to change my pH again from a water change. Also, how long is this fluval stratum going to throw out ammonia - I'd like to get my fish back in the big tank asap.
ОтветитьI’m not sure exactly why but I find your channel the most likeable out of all the aquarium channels I’ve seen. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
ОтветитьHi I have a 2 foot deep substrate planted tank that just started getting bleed through of aqua soil mixed with fine black Roman gravel it has bled through into my white capped sand and now after trying to fix this I have ended up with most of the aqua soil and gravel on the top and the white sand under neath mixed with the aqua soil which is not what I wanted . Originally I wanted the deep aqua soil substrate under the sand to become anaerobic and break down nitrate so eliminating water changes.
ОтветитьAre you selling any plants???
ОтветитьInstead of raising light could you get lights w adjustable brightness
ОтветитьCan you please do a video on plant choices and placement for different looks like Dutch style or Jungle style etc.?
ОтветитьI’m fish and plant obsessed but I’m very broke. 😅
ОтветитьThanks for all the helpful tips.
I randomly decided I could change my front entry into a 40+ gal pond. So far it's been going well. Soil and sand, no filter, lots of plants, a few fish. I'm still figuring stuff out.
I'd love to hear how you best manage "top offs" to replace evaporated water. My home water is chlorinated, as in chlorinate. So I['m wondering how to add water frequently because of evaporation without hurting the ecosystem. So far I have tap water conditioner but I feel unsure about what is and isn't happening.
Heavily planted aquarium and sponge filters is all you need ..it’s all I use ..and all I will ever use ..tanks are thriving ..the key is right light and spectrum and plants and sponge filter ..water changes once a month for my bio load ..and boom happy fish keeper ✌🏻
ОтветитьGreat tutorial, even if a bit rushed. Could you maybe do a video on some different types of plants that'd be good in nano tanks, besides anubius and crypts. For background, mid and front (including some without runners). I have a 5.5 gallon and would like a little more variety. Like some grass-like midground that my fish can swim through. Just a thought. Or maybe just a couple of suggestions? Thanks Chris, even if you don't do one.
ОтветитьI have Amazon swords and they’re legit hanging by a thread. Anubias and crypt are super easy for me to keep
