The Gospel

Man's condition of sin as told in The Book Of Isaiah hundreds of years before Jesus Christ was on The Earth:

Isaiah 53:6 (KJV):

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.


And as told in The New Testament:

Romans 3:23 (KJV):

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;


Because of our rebellion towards God, as revealed in Scripture, and in our own hearts as we measure ourselves against the 10 Commandments, every one who has sinned deserves to and must be judged by God who is Holy and righteous. Not just people who are "bad people". All people who have sinned against God, which is every one of us. (Myself and all mankind included)


Yet, we are not without hope. Jesus Christ, who was promised long before His coming, lived a perfectly sinless life, and God gave Him the punishment we deserve, as He bore our sins on the cross and died in our place.

He perfectly obeyed God in all ways and therefore could die in our place. God's wrath toward us and our sin, was outpoured onto Jesus Christ. By faith in His sinless death and resurrection being a just substitution on our behalf, we have the righteousness (sinlessness) of Jesus Christ accredited (given) to us. God satisfies justice as He pours out His just punishment and wrath which was directed towards us and our sin, onto His son, Jesus Christ, who had no sin in Himself.

Through faith in Jesus Christ, that He alone can offer us forgiveness, we receive His righteousness, and have eternal life.


Isaiah 53:9-11 (KJV):

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.



The above verses speak of Jesus Christ, His sinless life, Him bearing our sins on His behalf, and Him dying and resurrecting. All of this was to justify us toward God, through faith in His sinless death, burial, and resurrection being sufficient to justify us from our sins before God. We have nothing to offer God through good works or personal morality. These can not make us right before God.

Rather, faith in the perfection of Jesus Christ and in His work on the cross is what grants us eternal life and forgiveness of sins.



We broke God's law, Jesus "paid the fine". Acknowledge and understand your own sin and helplessness due to your imperfection, and trust in Jesus Christ, that He will justify you through His perfect life where he took our punishment.


John 3:16 (KJV):


For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.










Believe and receive eternal life, not being fooled by the sin and temporary tricks of this world that would try to draw you away.

These things offer you temporary pleasure but blind your heart to the truth. This is a mistake, because it is this exact natural state of sin and rebellion towards God that causes us to create excuses and reject Him.

When you understand God and His Holiness, understand your sin and helplessness, repent of your rebellion towards God, and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, you will have a new heart with new desires to love God, and the most valuable and lovely gift one could have: Eternal life in heaven with God after you leave this world.


Hebrews 4:7 (KJV):

Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
