Americans like shit talking to much
ОтветитьMy 7’7” Heavy Fast rod has micro guides and this knot work with them great.
ОтветитьFirst time to join two lines, real easy to follow. Thank you
Ответитьbest tutorial yet for me... thank you.
ОтветитьGreat video, got it on the first try! Then I cut the mainline by mistake and had to tie it again! 😂Thanks!
ОтветитьPretty straightforward!!!
ОтветитьWorks great thank you!!
ОтветитьFC is my favorite, but this alberto taught to kids for saltwater leader. I would use it in salt where I use a step down with a blood knot for floro to floro and a rapala knot for the lure.
ОтветитьI just started fishing a few months ago and just did this for the first time and was super easy
ОтветитьThanks Justin! This knot along with your instruction is finally doing the trick for me!
ОтветитьIt’s a great knot but with light gear the tag will knock a bit off your cast - if you like a long leader -
ОтветитьSuper easy and tight and fast.
ОтветитьLiterally best tutorial, I nailed it on the first shot. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you this great demonstration
ОтветитьI prefer the carrot knot. Instead of doubling over the leader, you double over the braid and basically do the same thing. About 6 to 9 twists up and the same back down to the knot with the leader line then slip the leader through the twist, wet, and pull tight. You can cut the leader as close as possible and it makes a better knot for slipping through the guides on the rod. Try it out sometime!
ОтветитьThis was a great tutorial broski.
ОтветитьThanks Justin. Nice knot. Nice tutorial.
Ответитьthanks man this was easy as
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьProne to failure. There are much simpler and more reliable knots than this.
ОтветитьThanks Justin! Great video👍 Do you use the fg at all?
ОтветитьYou did an awesome job good work thank you take care
ОтветитьGreat knot and will have to try. Been using the J~knot
ОтветитьBeen using it,strong holds very well and could do it in Windy condition
ОтветитьGood day from South Africa. Im having a problem with the braid fraying as it goes thru the eyes of the rod until it snaps on the braid side of the knot and i lose my lure. What am i doing wrong?
Ответитьamazing explanation. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьCheers old man doing the change to braid
ОтветитьVery simple knot. Exactly what I needed.
ОтветитьIt works great and I got good at it after my second try
ОтветитьNice demo…I use 10# to 15# flouro and 10# braid so this knot would require increased dexterity. Right now I’m going with the FG knot utilizing Knot Assist 2.0 at home and double surgeons on the water.
ОтветитьEven I may be able to tied this knot😂 . I know from experience that tying knots requires practice. This presentation is excellent and easy to follow. Thank you!
ОтветитьHoping over time the memory from being on the factory spool lessens. With a tight line using weight its fine but at first with top water bait it is so bad reeling in is a problem and prone to “nesting”.
ОтветитьThis is my goto knot for braid to fluorocarbon for about 5 yrs now. When i learned it, i was told to have the braid go through the fluo loop in the same direction. ie both pointing up or both pointing down through the loop, it makes it slightly more compact. Also you can tighten it in too stages. Pull all 4 strands to tighten the front of the knot and then let go of both tag ends and pull on the main braid and main fluo and that will tighten the back of the knot.
Excellent, efficient demonstration. You likely helped out a lot of fishermen with this video!
Very strong knot
ОтветитьBig Game, the best mono on the market, now in a new color that’s easier to see!
ОтветитьThis has been known for many years as the Albright knot. It is good but I had one unravel recently. What happened was with repeated pulling over the guides on the rod the knot loosened an finally came apart. This was connecting 50 lb braid to 60 lb mono leader. The knot was good after tying. I'm going to try using crazy glue on it next time.
ОтветитьGot it first time after your video. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьThis is just a different way of tying an Albright knot. I don't think the knot is any different when completed.
ОтветитьThe Surgeon's knot is the easiest braid to mono/floro/braid. If you ask me anyway.
ОтветитьThe problem with this is the leader is doubled up, so has a pretty thick profile
ОтветитьI Always wet my lines (usually just put the knot in my mouth) before i cinch it down🤙
ОтветитьThank you young man! Knot worked great!
ОтветитьAn FG knot is much better and stronger
ОтветитьI want to see you tie this knot in the dark using 10 lb. braid and an 8 lb. fluoro leader.. Any one can tie these knots when you're tying two pieces of 30 lb. or larger line.
ОтветитьHey aren’t you forgetting to put some saliva before you tightened the knot ?
ОтветитьThanks bro, was losing my mind with my small diameter leader that kept slipping on the other knots (yeah, skill issue, but still...)
ОтветитьYou made it Way easy. Thanks!
ОтветитьI Use a lighter to make a small bead on the flouro. It helps a lot.
ОтветитьGot this on the second try! Thanks for this. Could not tie a blood knot to save my life. Shooting this from the actual angle of how I’m tying it really helps. So many videos shoot from the opposite perspective which is extremely confusing with more complex knots.
