Cinelike-D vs. Natural in 4K || Panasonic G85 Test || Non-Scientific Samples

help me, why can't my cinelike d and cinelike v mode be selected?

Sorry for the ignorant question, but what is the right-to-left sweep that happens? Application of the Lut? It darkens, reduces the hazy look and improves the contrast and overall look. Thanks.

Nice video. I've been considering upgrading from a t2i to a g85. I've been using the t2i for about 7 years now and have been really satisfied with it, especially combined with the sigma 10-20mm. I'm wondering in your opinion how big the jump is in terms of video quality from the t2i to the g85? Is it worth dishing out the extra $1000 CAD or save up for a better camera? I mainly do local music videos so stills aren't a big concern for me. The main issue that's stopping me from getting it is the lower bitrate with 1080p recording on the g85 compared to the t2i. I do a ton of 60fps slow motion shots and while I do love the 4k footage, it's hard for me to see if it's the deal breaker. Curious what you think, thanks.

If I shoot a 4K 30fps video at "manual video" dial position (exposure mode S (1/60) + natural profile) I find that I get brighter videos (in a bad way) than shooting a 4K 30fps video by pressing the record button at "S" dial position (1/60 + natural profile), even though centre-weighted metering mode is used in both cases. Do you know why that could be? I find it a bit annoying.

Great video again, I love g85 videos but do you mind trying the portrait profile picture. Could you compare that to natural. It looks like portrait can give you accurate skin tones. Also one more question, should I raise my master pedestal to +15 since I can always bring down the blacks in post or does that degrade image quality
