Love it
ОтветитьA new replacement Hybrid Battery cost $4400 and the Module that controls it cost $2500. Warranties covers it for 60k miles. When you need replacement there goes your gas savings. Keep it simple folks
Ответить2024 has no Fog lights. Sorry, when you drive through the mountains and come around sharp bends, fog lights are a life saver.
Ответитьthe rear is a blatant copy of a volvo. Sad.
ОтветитьThe self proclaimed “Enthusiast” doesn’t know how to use a basic infotainment system.. what a momo
ОтветитьWho tf sits in the back of a SUV?? Simpletons.
ОтветитьI miss the table.
ОтветитьThere's no real CVT on the Honda hybrids but something Honda calls "eCVT". Simplified explanation, it is mainly driving in EV mode (engine as charger only) at lower speeds and for final drive a fixed gear engine.
Because of the wide power/torque range of electric motors, a transmission is not required. So no real CVT with belts and pullies.
i like everything about the new one except that front clip.. too boxy. the rear end looks better, kinda xc60-ish.
ОтветитьNo spare tire on hybrids is a no go for me.
ОтветитьThough the 2023 Honda CR-V is better, I still like everything about the 2022
ОтветитьI like the 2021-2022 CR-V more because I like the room and sounds when it moves, but I don't like the buttons either 😅
ОтветитьIt looks like an x5 from some angles
ОтветитьI hate and will not buy a Turbo or a CVT anything until I can't find another alternative. They suck.
ОтветитьHonda did a very bad job copying Volvo for their rear lights on the old CR-V. Looks like an ugly cartoon. And the front looks ugly and unpurposeful. The new one they sort of just copy straight and not changing anything. So they looks better. But the side profile make the car looks like it can easily break in half.
ОтветитьI like the old one than the new one
ОтветитьHow is this hybrid CR-V handle the winter?
ОтветитьSo Nissan is sponsoring a Honda review video
Ответитьwow nissan advertising for honda, keep it up nissan.
ОтветитьOne thing you guys forgot to mention is that the 2023 Honda CR-R sports hybrid has no transmission.
ОтветитьHi, any oil dilution or leak in the turbo version ?
ОтветитьI still drive my 97 CR-V and I still love it. If I cared to have car payments I’d get either version of the newest CR-V.
ОтветитьYou guys forgot the mirror camera. It doesn't exist in all the new models. It's the best feature taken away. Along with the back USB ports.
Ответитьyou actually can get an LX now they brought that trim back
ОтветитьGREAT VIDEO! Love the video angles, but old for 2022 is hardly a correct adjective for dezcription.
I'll admit the 5th gen CR-V was never on the top of my list due to the general classification of being a nurses goto car.
After ownership of the same 2022 model tested here, for the same amount of time; honda styling went in the wrong direction for 2023, and eliminated the budget-luxury touring that some consumers are seeking.
What I would initially describe as ugly for 5 gen, is a reaction to the revolution in styling; and although initial reactions might be standoffish, with time the styling personally grows creating a sense of nostalgia for the uniqueness.
Honda's 6th gen styling is attempting to chase the shape of the Mazada Corp., and will regretably reverse the decision if numbers do not meet sales standards.
Gen 7 sooner than expected? Or will we see intergeneration luxury updates? Gas milage will have to improve for sure!
Honda always gets glowing reviews from fanboys. Nobody seems to want to mention that Honda screwed up with the 1.5 turbo oil dilution issue , that now has a class action lawsuit. Buyer beware!
ОтветитьI think the CR-V hybrids have eCVT. Single gear for the electric motor and a single gear when you switch to use the I.C.E. for power at hwy speeds.
ОтветитьPray you don't get a flat. No spare.
ОтветитьNot really a head scratcher if you think about it. The new CR-V is quite a bit bigger than the outgoing model - that means more weight, yes? Therefore (one) less MPG
Ответить"Like a pimp"... that comment deserves a like and subscribe!
ОтветитьJust bought a 2023 EX. My first gas fillup showed i got 31.5 mpg. And that was almost no highway. I'm 6'5" and I'm comfortable. Lots of room. Drives beautifully.
ОтветитьNissan sponsor for a Honda review?!? 🫤
ОтветитьGlad I bought a 2022..New ones are ugly as hell
ОтветитьThat honeycomb air vent will be such a turn off when it starts getting dusty inside because it will be a pain in the arse to clean it
ОтветитьAy those ‘23 models giving me some beautiful sleek design vibes
ОтветитьNissan ad seriously why
ОтветитьElongated hood by creating a bunch of empty space under the hood, raising the price, worse fuel economy, and slower, what on earth is the point of this so called new version?
ОтветитьGREAT REVIEW. Cars are overpriced now though.
ОтветитьIn this video... you guys did not notice that... the back doors open to an almost... 90 degree opening... Honda be mad at you for that.. in my Ridgelines, the 2019 I paid for them to open wider but the 2021 they opended OK for the dog to be thrown in the back.. this NEW CR-V will replace my Black Edition Ridgeline... and the DOG will enjoy that the doors open to 90 so he wont have to be thrown in as much as gently rolled in, now that he is older... I was blown over sitting in this machine for 3/4 of an hour... starting the Engine and hearing NOTHING... that was it... SOLD... but backing up now that is halarious... I cant run anybody over anymore like I did in the TRUCK... yet, its Quiet? so this sound should be pumped out of every AUTOMOBILE out there...
ОтветитьGreat Review Guys! Well done!
ОтветитьTried liking new but I like the old one. At least they could have compared new red with old red. Obviously red looks better.
ОтветитьDowngraded by removing 4 way lumbar and fog lights. Also the rear seats no longer lay completely flat like they used to. Honda drastically cut production of the LX trim in early 2021 when I used to sell Honda products. The dash/instrument cluster on the 2023 is the same as on the 10th gen Accord.
ОтветитьThe 2023 CRV hybrid has no spare tire!! Big time deal breaker for me. IMHO that is a major safety flaw.
Ответить2023 looks much better
ОтветитьBut is the AWD version any good in snow ? I have an Accord Hybrid and the tires are not even good in rain. The car does, however, get as much as 55mpg !
ОтветитьVideo = Honda CR-V
Sponsor = Nissan
lol xD
New '23 feel like it's any taller (the driving position) than the '22? Nice video 👍🏻
ОтветитьNo picnic table in the trunk? I'm out.
Ответить
