For me the original bfbb is better for one reason the controls are better in the original. They made an amazing remake and forgot to double check the controls they feel off

Cosmic shake is my number 1 holy crap what a breath of fresh water!! Loved every second of it just platinumed it

one of the best game of all time, i still remember how i beat the game 2 decade later, such a nostalgic memory

The movie game has to be my number one and I really hope they remaster it- especially after playing through bfbb and the cosmic shake . The different types of levels as well as the challenge things put into levels- where you had to kill waves of guys- helped to keep the platforming fresh. I also liked being able to upgrade the abilities after spending the time to collect all of the weight things . The last thing that the movie game does- that the others don't- is that it almost gives you the satisfaction of watching the spongebob movie while you play the game. Kinda like how by listening to the "Pick of Destiny" album, you can almost see the movie playing in your head

I think every game from 5 and up is good btw, and I can't help but feel you were a bit harsh on Truth or Square. It's a fine game if nothing special whereas Creature and Ductchman are both far more boring and less technically sound.

Kinda makes me think how everyone says there is so much SpongeBob games but to be for real there are only a few that you can fr play as like a fav game or like as a main game that you be inspired and interested from,if you really think about that games and movies can really get so much better and get so much main use in my opinion

Alright, TTJ, you talked me into it. I came here looking at old Spongebob games for nostalgia sake, after being hesitant on buying Cosmic Shake. After seeing gameplay and your perspective, I have to try it for myself.

I played Atlantis Squarepantis and Plankton's Robotic Revenge growing up
Atlantis Squarepantis kept me more interested and as for the other one I never got past the second area it was that boring even as a 9 year old playing
does really make me wish I kept my gamecube and played bfbb

The one that had Danny phantom,Jimmy, and Timmy was good I thought you would’ve mentioned but maybe you’ve never heard it

I’ve only played battle for bikini bottom, bfbb rehydrated, the movie game, and cosmic shake. That said Imo

1st SpongeBob game I played was SpongeBob SquarePants Super Sponge, then Revenge Of The Flying Dutchman, PS2/GameCube Creature From The Krusty Krab, OG Battle Of Bikini Bottom on PC but I was stuck on Hall Of Arms anyway, SpongeBob's Boating Bash, Atlantis SquarePantis, Rehydrated Battle Of Bikini Bottom and The Cosmic Shake

CFTKK was fire probably my favorite SpongeBob game growing up 😭😭

came into this expecting flying dutchman to be much lower honestly, but after seeing those bottom tier games, I'd take the weird and broken flying dutchman any day over uninteresting shovelware

Plankton’s Robotic Revenge was my first game ever…playing it was like magic though probably not because of it’s own achievements.

I remember my dad renting the movie game at a family video and I beat it in 1 sitting and I was super addicted to it

Bibb has one bad thing about it it really didn’t ask for squid word robot boss to the game still a 10 out of 10

Truth or Square is super underrated. It is one of my favorite video games of all time. I also feel Battle for Bikini Bottom is extremely overrated, not bad but nowhere near as good as Truth or Square

One notable exception to the 3D platformer is Lights, Camera, Pants. That game was fun asf.

The thing I hate about Revenge of the Flying Dutchman is that the entirety of the music is relegated to the costumes you use in the game. You'll spend a majority of the game in the jellyfishing outfit, and as decent as the music was, the jellyfishing song gets very annoying after a few hours.

So glad to see the Movie Game get some love. I've seen way too many people hate on it for no good reason. 'Oh, it's just more Battle for Bikini Bottom.' And that's a bad thing?!
