what about the font size of the editable text ? my style doesn't follow the size, so i can edit my text, my style are manageable, but, the size font is fix with the effect, if i change the font size, everything is broken, this is so sad :(

my thing only saved the curvature rather than all the things i added to the appearance. why is that?

If you add round corners to the appearance group you can keep it live text, however not all fonts play well with the rounded corners.

any idea how i can use the first layer to substact it from the rest, so that the "face" gehts "transparent" ?? i want to put videos/Pictures into the letters, without converting it to a pixel Graphic.... o.O

Talking about texts can you create a small and quick tutorial on this "When we are working with texts some typefaces has extra space in bounding box which really gets annoying while aligning them" Is there any way to do that so the software aligns the text only without considering the bounding box. And yeah without converting text to outline.

Great tut. But you don't have to Outline your text at all. Just add a round corner effect. Appearance pallet > ƒx > Stylized > Round Corners...
You can still Free Transform and the text is still fully editable. 👍

If you add smooth edges as first effect, the the whole text stays editable with round edges.

If you ad a stroke below 'Characters' a line will appear around the whole text included the effects. And the more copies you ad to the effect the more smoother it looks.
