Dior Sauvage EDT vs. EDP vs. Parfum!

Exactly.

I was today years old when I learned each concentration has different recipe. No wonder I get confused when reading or getting recommended a "cologne" and when I go to try it, it's not how I remembered or read about. I thought the concentration was just more oils to fillers ratio 😂. Why not just rename them and make different concentrations of each? Has this always been the norm?

i started collecting fragrances 2 years ago and ive build a ok one for now with buys like Bleu de Chanel and Allure homme sport and Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum, Azzaro Chrome Extreme YSL L'Homme and Prada L'Homme but i didnt want to get dior sauvage cause my friend wore it, i work at a college campus and 5 of my co workers wear it and then a few college kids are wearing it, i just dont wanna be wearing something that everyone is gunna be wearing, i mean i dont want something loud, im a guy that is more quiet and just wanna smell good and of course Masculinity. like also i wanna be different i dont wanna wear what alot of majority of ppl are wearing, id buy the parfum, and for a really good fragrance that many ppl say that can go toe to toe with sauvage is luna rossa Carbon. but of course ppl can buy whatever they want but just my thoughts. good vid dude

I bought the EDP blind but it really seems like people go gangbusters over the EDT

Great review video of Suavage, I love the Elixer and it’s my favorite. I recently bought the EDP and it has probably been one of the worst purchases in my list. It does not project on me and it’s just to soft although it has a strong concentration. For me EDP is more of a sleeping fragrance to go to sleep with and it’s soft and nice for that. It would please the partner for sure. I wear EDP just to sleep.

You need all three, but for me I like EDP A LOT but less than the EDT and Parfum. I like to layer the EDT and Parfum. To be honest, you need all three.

Dior 🌭 sausage is overrated imo. Got to much of a peppery note for my taste.😮

Weird but I smell a top note of strawberry in the EDP.

Edp to me has the most unique scent out of all of them, it’s more compact, more balanced and sophisticated. It’s the concept what sauvage is supposed to be. A real masterpiece! If you like a mature fresh out of the shower scent, this is for you!

If given the option, I always choose a parfum. EDT's have too much of a teen vibe for me.

Man I remember first buying the EDT in 2016, and I really believe this cologne was like a superpower. I would get compliments EVERYWHERE! Than around 2019 all these rappers and celebrities starting mentioning it in they’re music and the niche aspect went away, now you walk into any social event and at least 2 people are wearing this stuff. Really wish it would of stayed a well kept secret, really miss those days!

I was wondering how I suddenly liked this perfume when I thought it is boring and too sharp to my nose. Just now I understood that I tried Parfum version and it is different from EDP. I went to shop earlier and I tried it "again" but this time it was EDP and again, I didn't like it that much. I think I have to try Parfum version again, because that one I may buy.

idk I have both EDP and Parfum, I think the i prefer the EDP overall. I actually rarely get compliments with the Parfum LOL

Great review! I avoided the Sauvage line for as long as possible (due their popularity) but caved in and treated myself to the Parfum version. It was a blind purchase…risky, I know. I think it’s a lovely fragrance, though. I sampled the EDT, EDP and Elixir earlier. I’d probably buy the EDP version next as it’s a bit smoother than the EDT, but has better projection than the Parfum. The Parfum version lasts all day, even though it sticks closer to the skin. Just my thoughts.

For me it’s the edt it’s just such a special fragrance compared to the edp or parfum. It’s more complex versatile and unique, the others adds similar spice notes to other darker parfum fragrances that I enjoy better.

i choose and buy today the eau de parfum dior sauvage 100ml long lasting smell i spray on my pulse , almost 2 days i still the smell the elegancy. and fragrance

Thanks for sharing this video. I was actually wondering which one you prefer is the best one out of the three. I honestly almost thought they were all the same scent but was very wrong. I’ve the sauvage Dior regular one and the eau de parfum also. You would think they’re the same but they’re really not. I definitely get great complements on them both.

From my experience despite saying I would stick with the EDT, I ending up trying the NEW Dior Sauvage Elixir.

While I did like it, I found the smell for some was just too strong, especially at work.

I have tried the EDP before, but the EDT seems to come out top all the time in term of pleasing others.

It seems the most appealing, even to those at work.

So I'm back with the EDT as was originally the plan.

The EDP is the best of these 3 if you want to get compliments from girls. This has been shown repeatedly you just need to be unbiased and do the research. That said, the EDT is well put together too and will get compliments from both genders too, just not as much. Parfum is known to be the worst and it’s just not good.

from personal experience the parfum is best, even though the entire line is awesome. parfum has this great mandarin opening that settles into a vanilla tonka bean base that lasts all day on clothing. not too much a projector but i get compliments all day from its high sillage when walking around, with older women especially it smells the most mature and least offensive and my young age group loves the sauvage signature smell

It's too average for me but I heard the edt lasts even longer than the edp and projects better too.
