I had an 08 r6s as my daily for about 5 years before my roomate at the time was hit and it was totaled. And I mean DAILY. I didn't own a car at the time.
ОтветитьMine is 650. And yes i ride it daily😂, and will be
Ответитьi get yammie's point
but a good ol 1999 suzuki gsxr srad 600 is pretty comfortable to be ridden in the city
especially when it only has 17k km
Yes I do but I was smart about it and went with comfort, reliability, style, and cost with the 2023 ninja 650. But I won't lie if I could afford the h2 I would have that.
ОтветитьI daily a Fireblade 🤷🏾♂️
ОтветитьWell i sure hope you dont think a 400 is a suitable daily rider! The interstate is one rough ride. I have had my 400 for a year now and already ready to trade in for an R6. So of anyone on here is a beginner start off with a 600 or 700! You can actually keep that bike and enjoy it longer.
ОтветитьI daily rode my CBR600RR for a summer. Didn’t even own a car. It was a good summer.
ОтветитьHmmm, I drove my Kawasaki ZZR600 for many years and almost every day (unless the weather was really really bad). Bought her used with 8k on the clock and drove her to 177000km before selling it. Did normal regular maintenance and never had any problems. So there's that...
ОтветитьOf course they can
ОтветитьCould have added a Windshield tip.
ОтветитьWouldn't I need to dyno the bike after sprocket changes?
ОтветитьI wish there was a Voom option for Life Insurance... I can send them a report on the lack of my social and sex life instead of the Odometer reading pic for validity.
ОтветитьCould've used a better analogy than a bicycle at the beginning Yammie...
ОтветитьEven without low end toque, my bikes faster shifting at 6-8k (redline 16k) than most cars on the road. Why wouldn’t I daily it? Also have a Chinese 50cc in the garage for running about town 😂
ОтветитьSpeedy Speedmaster. Cheers
ОтветитьI am 45 years old-young. I love my 2010 r6 I wouldn't change it for anything. I feel very comfortable on it .
ОтветитьI put 80,000 miles on my 05 r6
It’s a great daily bike. Never left me stranded.
Midrange torque is better on the CBR600F4i as, although the engine is the same as the RR model, it is tuned for more midrange torque. Plus the handlebars are just a little highter so touring with it is great. I even built a rear rack with a locking box which holds a ton of gear including the tank bag. Soft panniers also affix very well to it. Removed the passenger grab bars and machined mounts for it to go over the rear seat. It doesn't buffet at all as it is so close to the rider. I don't care if it looks goofy because I just want it to be useful as well as fun. Besides, I am almost 70 years old and I have no intention of riding some slow cruiser any time soon.
ОтветитьYou be surprised how comfortable my 03 katana 750 is
ОтветитьI'm 67, ride a 1400cc Kawasaki, most days.
ОтветитьI daily a 07 Hayabusa without a hassle so I must be nightmare fuel for Yam.
I use a 58 litre shad topbox and can use her for almost anything.
This isn't even a realistic opinion. It's almost like he is grasping at points to start a debate. MOST people don't own multi bikes ffs. Also, who gives a shit about the powerband being high in the revs? If you're just riding to work, there's no requirement to rev it to the moon. Any full sport bike is in the same category, as far as comfort and streetability, not just 600s.
ОтветитьI’m moving out so it’s def gonna be my daily unless it’s raining lmaoo
ОтветитьReally good, informative video, ty !
ОтветитьI daily a 2012 R6 with an extended swing arm, GP shifter and a backpack. The only thing i agree with is using your legs to hug the tank. That does make a huge difference but i have a blast on that thing. Its great to cruise on lower rpms and a blast at higher rpms. No regrets
Ответитьive gotten a 600cc about a few months ago and im only 17 with no experience and i can tell you personally that its really was easy to learn on a 600 especially on a 4 hr first ride home, I probably wouldnt recomend it as a starter but to each their own
ОтветитьI think problem is not the 600cc it is the 4 cylinders engine. Something like aprilla rs660 is perfect for street riding. Although we all love 4 cylinders engine :) maybe something like zx4rr then? 😂
ОтветитьUhh i dailiy ride my zx10r😂
ОтветитьMy daily is my bandit 6😅
ОтветитьI daily my r6 with full comfort. Dont listen to clowns.
ОтветитьMy dad laughing in 1100cc cruiser
ОтветитьFull tuck, attacking boulders on a Daytona 675
ОтветитьReally, 600 CC bikes mostly appeal to two people, people who can't afford 1000cc and race track riders for whom it's a cool change from 1000cc.
That said, I wouldn't recommend ANY super sport as a daily vehicle(read primary vehicle).
Strange to talk about a 600 as a racing bike. Here in France, many driving schools have 500 or 650 for maneuvers and lessons in road traffic, then we drive on 500 or more powerful (but limited in power) for 2 years of motorcycle license, then we move on to more power. 950cc for me, some ride on 1000 or 1200... So, 600cc too powerful? Weird...
ОтветитьA 600cc is really ment for light weight fit riders, 50lbs overweight makes a difference in accelerating, braking and handling.
Ответить650 for fun daily rides. A 1000 for epic fast fun. 600s are nice for sure, though.
Ответить100% agree a R6 is a nightmare for daily use.
Ответить"Dont daily a 1000cc."
"Dont daily a 600cc."

At this point I just accept the fact that hes a content creator and thats exactly what hes doing. No need to take his advice outside of that.
Dont care looks over function. Do what ever you want its your life. My daily is a 1000cc haha
Ответитьmy friend told me not to ride a 300 at all for the first bike I do ride dirt bikes but I know this is a whole new ball game he said 600 would be good but I don't know these fuckers are pretty fast i ride a 22 300 ktm tpi 2 stroke but never on street
ОтветитьI fart to go faster
ОтветитьI switched from an mt07 daily to a gsxr600 and although its amazing to go back to the mt sometimes its just not nearly as much fun. Its fine in the low rpm tbh. Do wanna turn it into my track bike though tbh might get a zx6 for the streets after.
My end goals to have a weekend rider, street bike and a commuter
This guy yaps so much it's unbelievable.
ОтветитьI want to buy a honda cb650r next year for daily use.
Ответитьif you dont love the pain, dont live the bike..
ОтветитьTrue... people that love to ride get a street friendly bike for the streets, and keep an old track bike for the track. And just cause it's an older K5 GSXR 750, don't mean it can't hang with a more modern fully digitized bike, so don't be surprized.... Especially if you see it sporting a fancy set of Öhlins.
ОтветитьI had a 2003 R6 loved it, sold that got me the daddy 2013 R1 back in 2014 ..... missed my R6 😢 it was just so much more accessible, so much more fun, so much more bigger smiles.
Give me a 600 any day
I daily my 600cc. Ride about 2 to 4 hours six days a week. Have the cb650r. I find it ideal for city riding and the ability to escape the city when needed. It is a more natural body position, except for the heavy pack back I have on for my classes.
ОтветитьI'll stick to my 650,besides restricted to street kinda sucks! Get a real bike, you know the ones you can go off road with!
Ответить
