Back years ago tag the Jersey Mikes by USF in Tampa I used to order it by asking for the big kahuna with the chipotle mayo. I thought I was being unique lmao. After ordering it several times they told me it’s actually called a number 99, and it became my regular for several years, now this was back in like 2016. So a couple of months ago, living in a different part of Tampa now, I go to a Jersey Mikes and ask for a Number 99 and all the workers are looking confused like they never heard of it. Then an older worker, might have been the manager finally understood what I was talking about and made the sandwich. So I’m saying all of that to say this:

Not every Jersey Mike’s employee even knows about the number 99. If you know about it even as a customer, you are apart of an elite secret society that must be protected

My two favorite sub shops. Penn station and jersey mikes. Can’t go wrong with either and I appreciate Jersey mikes reward program.
