Thanks everyone for watching along! Have you tried this tip yet? Let me know below!
ОтветитьI found the HR's name on the agency's website, searched her linkedin and turned out she stopped working for them 4 months ago, should I still address her in this case ?
ОтветитьI just called them and they said they can't provide that information and just address it Human Resources... sigh I tried
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this tip. I have typically written ‘dear hiring manager’ on cover letters because I assumed I had to know the exact person I was addressing. Guess I need to let go of that philosophy. 😬
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing. This is very informative and helpful!
ОтветитьThis was excellent... shared many times!!!!
ОтветитьThanks Emily for this tip! I have used LinkedIn in the past to do my searches for recruiters when completing a cover letter. I always saw it as ‘LinkedIn stalking’ and thought recruiters would not like it but I am glad to know the effort is appreciated. Appreciate your videos and thanks for the career advice!
ОтветитьInformative
ОтветитьThank you for sharing! I am currently applying for startups where they do not have recruiters or talent acquisition people yet. In that case, should I address to a CEO in a cover letter?
ОтветитьGuilty as charge! Thank you for the advice and tips!
ОтветитьI talked to someone and he said in his company, they want you to put to whom it may concern on the cover letter
ОтветитьI feel so bad...I always write "Dear Hiring Manager"... clearly I haven't gotten to that module yet in HHF lol
ОтветитьThanks for making this video! I really enjoyed the key words you shared because wording is the key to finding what you want. Also it is nice to know that as long as I put someone who could possibly be reading my cover letter, it works. Like their recruiters or hr personnel. I've sometimes felt stressed in the past where on Linkedin or the company website there were several folks listed in those recruitment/hr roles and I did not know the exact person who could be reading my cover letter. Again, thank you for the advice! :)
