How to make the icon close button work?
ОтветитьSome people saying some ridiculous things in these comments. This doesn't force people to do anything. It does not prevent users from exiting the tab or from leaving the screen (unlike js confirm() which does forcefully make you click it before you leave, this is not that). It generates a popup to catch someone's attention before they leave. The user can still choose to ignore this "hey before you go" message without any additional clicks or actions. There are many different use cases that a lot of people would likely appreciate for this style of modal as well. For instance, is it "forcing the user" when a popup displays in nearly every program on Earth asking you if you want to save your changes before exiting a program? The coupon code idea demonstrated in this video is also something I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate as well.
ОтветитьWould be great if these designs would be part of a Design Set.
ОтветитьWhat a twisted piece of dark pattern marketing. It’s openly admitting it is going straight against user intent. If you’re researching what user centred design is all about, you’ll quickly understand that this is the one thing you don’t want to do. It doesn’t only produce any good results (forcing people to do something they don’t want to never does), it also pro-actively takes away from the trust users may have started to build with your brand…
ОтветитьWhat about GDPR data privacy settings?
ОтветитьNice, just do it... but don't listen to user wishes and prioritys... lol
ОтветитьInteresting.
Not sure if visitors like this, but that's not the goal of marketing anyway.
Nice tutorial, thanks. Great feature! But one thing I don't understand is, why the animation on scroll is working since there is no scroll to trigger it?
ОтветитьAmazing. Now, get that WooCommerce working :)
