Shelby F150 Super Snake VS RAM TRX

Both Shelby & TRX ran the track a few times. The TRX never ran a better time than the Shelby's worst time.

TRX driver got a horrible start.

This was a terrible match up. The TRX wasn’t built to be a sport performance truck regardless of ig having the Hellcat engine. It was built to be a high powered off road truck

Wow! I thought the TRX would sweep.

What I don’t understand is why doesn’t dodge just make the 5.7 better instead of throwing a supercharged 6.2 in the trx. More weight and a lower compression ratio is what made the trx lose. As well as possibly the driver.

Ram was late on the tree, would have been much closer had they left together. Surprising considering the ram is an off-road vehicle. Put small tires on and lower it. Results might be a lot different.

I saw the speeds at the end... snake had 122 and the trx had 126. It does look like the snake won but it was close and the trx was gaining. Just an observation.

I know on paper the Ford is 3 tents faster but that trx slept on the line so bad. Clearly anyone here who actually drag race know you nail it on the second yellow light not wait for the green.

One is stock vs. a tuner truck. Also…how much heavier is the 4WD TRX?
Not “apples to apples”…run the Shelby up against a Hennessey Mammoth, then will see who wins.

I'd like to see a real world competition. Like how many Amish each will hold while pulling a trailer loadeds with rough cut lumber and a 3 ton diesel engine and all of the accompanying gear needed to run a dairy farm.

I don't buy a truck to race, which is why I'll stick with my Toyota Tundra TRD.
