THIS PVE Overwatch 2 Mission Took Us 3 Days To Complete On Legendary

I finally did it, I completed all of them on legendary

Pve needs a in game game director like left 4 dead

This is ridiculous on console. Feels like it's purely for PC to play on legendary

I love thinking about stuff from an in-universe perspective. Imagine a world where robots are terrorizing cities and generally causing lots of destruction. An old group of heroes show up in order to take them out, then after stopping the threat, they decide the most important thing they can do is fight each other over pushing 2 walls around a city to accomplish nothing.

I hope they introduce hanzo to the overwatch team by them looking terifeyed at one big ass null sector ship, just for a big ass dragon rushing at it destroying it

Just play Exoprimal. The way the PvE in this game should have been done.

There’s absolutely no way that for some of the best overwatch players it took them 50 tries to beat that. It looks super manageable with good coms. Now I can understand if it had one of those modifiers though.

So yesterday I beat the Reggie section, but then the game bugged out and there was ONE enemy stuck in the wall or ceiling, and so the game kicked us for inactivity :/

Can everyone please be real for a moment this is Blizzard they are gonna charge you alot of money to do such

I struggled with it until I sat down and realized that speed lucio only healing on amp, sojourn that only shoots legs, echo who flexes, and Winston for damage/boops obliterate. Took me and the gang one try

Flats trying to drag the 15$ an hour and a half worth of gameplay into a week of videos.
Blizzard fucked up.

I really like the last sequence of this mission. The non-stop feel of it and the music is really great.

Does anyone if melee counts as boop? It did in the Archives missions with the assassins, but they removed the melee's ability to get environmentals in OW2 (but not its actual knockback). If it was able to, that would kinda remove the need for Lucio/Dva, you could probably do Bap for more sustain plus lamp and window, and maybe a different tank, since you can just tap the subjugators to cancel them.

Shameful pve. I played sojourn in that mission too and did exactly what flats did at exactly the same points. Imagine having pve that requires little to no creativity. No different ways to approach the mission, no strategies just one straight up formula to get it over with and get the only good sojourn skin in the game lol🤙

For my group the winning comp was Rein, Echo, (Soj), Brig. Rein can shatter charge the beginning Artillery and later on charge an Elite Nulltrooper off map too; additionally, the swing AOE is also really nice. Echo just doing so much damage and duping in situations needed is too hard to pass up, especially with her dupe ult gen buff. Brig just plays lots of chess with Null Sector special units, like Subs and Stalks since any of her offensive abilities stagger them. This comp made the Subjugator sections pretty trivial in my experience, would recommend communication definitely.

Yeah this mission is a pain in the ass. I still haven’t finished it. I got to the very very end with the team of DVA, Pharah, Mercy, and Sojourn obviously. We were so incredibly close to finishing the mission that the Subjugators got them at the very very last second before they got onto the ship. It was soooo bullshit

mission 2 was hell, doing it duo with randoms just isnt working i need a team :(

i think they're hinting at overwatch ending in the story
the game is dying, they know it, and they're gonna make it canon

I’ll admit the line where Lucio said that they were getting paid in exposure was pretty funny but ironic coming from activision

Seeing Emongg boop the Screaming Banshee Bish on stream made me realize they can be interuppted and made Legendary so much easier for me. That said, I ain't beat it yet lmao

I find it so interesting that despite having a final boss the Rio mission is the easiest on legendary. I feel like the massive horde they throw at you in the final mission was meant to be carried by Bastion but they reworked him and didn’t go back to change much

So many things could have been done. Including make super rare skin drops for beating the missions on Legendary mode or higher drop rates on said skins based on difficulty. But no the went the mind numbing route and produced the most boring/shortest campaign missions ever. One single dev could of program this in one single month. They took three years for this. Let that be a reminder. I love the game, but this is inexcusable.

Is there a post anywhere that details what all the changes specifically for PVE are, I.E. Lucio speed boost also amping attack speed?

It took me 5 hours with random. Until the randoms left and then there were 3 bots. The bots are better players xD

Gonna be honest... If they made a raid boss style mission where there is a player for every hero in the overwatch team fighting through a map together... THAT would be worth the $20ish they are asking for...

It's funny the other 2 are cake walks on legendary but this one makes you rethink life

I was hoping the enemies would be smarter and faster in higher-difficulty settings. More minions and different/improved enemy abilities would be nice, too.

The cutscenes are great, though.

yeah, doubling/tripling the enemies with small health/damage boost will better. I'm grateful for flats and other content creator playing this since I just won't give any pennies to blizz
