My cousin was drafted into Vietnam. I’ve always had the utmost respect for him. He’s always had bad PTSD but he’s always been a great guy. He’s always been one heck of a worker so I know he must’ve been one heck of a soldier.

I've noticed that almost never can the camera pick up the enemy soldiers in view. It seems we are just shooting into the complete unknown. I suppose that's sometimes true but how often?

My dad and both my uncles served in viet nam, crazy that teenagers faced that kind of terror. My dad said my one uncle came back a changed man for the worst. I just remember him as a violent human being. My other uncle was a respected war hero, then my dad was a beach boys loving party guy.

These brave men didn’t deserve to be there in the first place.
The politicians should be held accountable.

Before US Democrats President LB Johnson declare US military action to Vietnam. The South Vietnamese army had 250,000 and the North Vietnamese army had 60,000 troops. But when the War started and US Democrats President LB Johnson deployed 500,000 ground troops to Vietnam and they did their "Search and Destroyed mission." The Communist North Vietnamese gain mass support for their cause and their army grew from 60,000 to over a 1,000,000. America cause the Democratic South Vietnam to fall to the Communist North. American even today still said they came to help the South Vietnamese against communist when they cut off all promise military aids to South Vietnam.

As a 23 year old young man from the US I can say that the younger men than I am now who went there and survived are the most important people who walk the country I live in today the time period that was most important and most valuable for us as humans and that brought forth the greatest change of ourselves that harbor our most profound and unique values and attributes had its foundation set when those same young men were growing up and and those same values that were gained in that time were used to influence the desire to be the same foundation for the people whose lives were being affected by evil overseas and then the same media that would influence them to fight against evil in Vietnam by showing how they needed us to fight for them then they achieved I believe their goal of trying to get as many of those good hearted citizens overseas in hopes of them perishing in war and when it wasn’t working well enough for them they changed perspectives of how they potrayed the war and who’s the enemy so that when they didn’t succeed in getting you to fight and die over there that you wouldn’t be able to come home and continue to fight for good and love in the world they were in hopes of getting rid of the truly righteous and good hearted people that were emerging from the time period the same people who had ideas and values of the people that made history and who were also murdered in front of us as the evil of this world must always try to destroy hope of positive things and hope for a world of peace and justice

É lamentável que um país como os Estados Unidos, o país dizem eles da liberdade, terem entrado em tantas guerras e seus milhares , dezenas de milhares militares negros sempre entraram em guerras e muito pouco é falado. Na 2 ª guerra vieram uns milhares para Europa lutar pela liberdade que não a tinham nos Estados Unidos. Já vi milhares documentários da época, um soldado negro nem pensar. Os cenegrafistas que cobriram a 2 ª guerra, nunca mostraram soldados americanos negros. Guerra da Coreia igual—Guerra do Vietnam , só as tvs mostravam por que foi a primeira guerra a ser televisionada, mas como dizem atualmente os veteranos negros que em combates era tudo igual, ao chegar á suas unidades havia separação. Nos combates era tudo igual, pois estava em causa ou morres ou matas, então : brancos-negros. Quando havia uma saída nas cidades por exº Saigon, ( Ho Chi Minh atualmente ) os militares negros para uns lados , brancos para outro lado.Vejam as centenas de imagens dos veteranos , ou quando chegaram, ou agora mesmo alguns retornam ao Vietnam-mas exª soldados negros e tantos morreram naquelas selvas, mas não se fala nada Já faz tantos anos que Lincoln travou uma guerra entre Norte—Sul para que todos fossem Americanos, mas ainda hoje não convivem muito bem. Europa é muito diferente, são todos militares e todos confraternizam.
