How to convert Avios to Nectar (plus boost Amex Reward points)

Here's a question; my BA exec account has said I need to have some activity on it so I don't loose my avios points I've collected (had no activity for nearly 36 months) - will turning my nectar Pointon to avios count towards that 36 month reset?

How to get Avios at first place? And then convert?

I've got 29000 avios points what would you recommend is the best way to convert them into nectars, I didn't understand the increments you were talking about?

Does this mean an Amex reward point into avios to nectar is equivalent to 0.8% cashback?

Hi andy! thanks for this great video. i have all three Amex, avios and nectar memberships. definitely going forward with what you have recommended of converting points into nectar points. question though do nectar points get reset to zero after a time period if not used? like Avios points do if unused for a period of time ie a year? so by doing what you have suggested we can actually maximise our Avios points and say if we want to use them for travel covert them back from nectar to avios?
