First look at the NEW LEVIATHAN CONCEPTS for Subnautica: Return of the Ancients!

Not gonna lie, but these guys all have very awesome designs. Especially the Angler Leviathan and the Guardian Leviathan.

I find the idea of just bringing back dead leviathans, more boring than if they were to just spawn in the game, I don't really why I feel like that

I know this might be really hard to make but remember that bigger skyray that was in the subnautica trailer I thought that would be cool to add in also if it does work remember that concept art for the dragon sized skyray yea.

Idea for subnautica 3 (this is an AU ((alternative universe)) made by my friend):
The Karraa (or however it is spelt) bacteria, sometimes when spread from one of the alien creatures to the player, alters their DNA in a way that (also my friends theory) let’s the modern-day leviathans survive with the karraa bacteria inside their body. The only problem with this is that it alters some part of them as well, either as simple as putting a shark fin on their back or completely altering their DNA to look almost like a smaller, humanoid leviathan. They can still spread the virus/bacteria though, causing many humans being hostile towards the infected ones, especially now that the karraa is in their DNA and trying to cure them would most likely kill them. Because of this, humans call them ‘broken hybrids’ and are now officially a different species. Humans usually tend to steer clear of broken hybrids, attacking them on sight (harassing them), treating them with curiosity, or even trying become infected through the broken hybrids (becoming infected and turning into a broken hybrid through a broken hybrid is a 48% chance, otherwise you just become a normal infected person) so that they can become immune to the karraa. Broken hybrids usually tend to treat humans with caution, nervousness, avoid them completely, try and treat them like fellow members of society, or are on edge and are quick to snap around humans.
I think that it could be cool to choose between human and broken hybrid in a character costumization thingy at the beginning.

I'm drawing a concept of the first fossil and I'm calling it the Alpha Biter, like the Alpha Peeper, but it's a Biter, It might spawn in the Blood Kelp or Dunes because normal Biters live in the Grassy Plateau and those 2 are close.

I thought the pda said that the ancient skeleton was the largest on the planet, if this is what the body will look like, than the ancient skeleton is not the largest

This has got to be the most BIG BRAIN moment subnautica mod I've ever seen.

My mind can make the voices in any video i hear in my brain to have any pitch and say anything and creature roars can be changed too

I think the adult gargantuan should be bigger. Devs please compare it to the image we all know. It would make it so much better. Also chose the tentacles verision of the the that one leviathan.

They should do lava Leviathan

I would actually LOVE if they add some kind of anemona that lives on the void walls that could attract the ghosts leviathans and other prey by mesmerizing and then shock them, maybe even eating them by getting them "caged" around their digestive apparel

I want a bloodsucker parasite that gives a unique death animation of your hands being sucked dry like they implode looking like straws

I have an idea for the mod. Add in weapons made with Precursor technology.

Ive had a theory that the "guardian leviathan" is actually the skeleton of the long dead sandworm
