Thank you for joining us today. Comment below with your thoughts on fire places and reviews.
Have a wonderful day my friends.
How big is your house ?
ОтветитьNice fireplace guys!
ОтветитьI would love to install the 3500! My wife is skeptical though. Our last insert gave the house a bad smell of smoke. Does the osburn do a good job at keeping the smoke smell out? Thanks
ОтветитьHi my 3500 isn't venting any smoke up the chimney and the fire goes out when I shut the door like it isn't getting any air . I've tried putting the damper in both positions but neither one is working any suggestions?
ОтветитьI'm on my second season with the 3500. In Zone 7 and we're burning about a cord a month to run it, which I'm pretty impressed with. Would highly recommend this unit.
ОтветитьWhat state are you in?
Ответить✅
ОтветитьI'll take a free standing Blaze King. I'm just ripping out the insert and the whole mobile home corner fireplace now.
ОтветитьHello wow that is so cool, glad yall were able to find out about the seal and fix by just one turn. well you know what i mean lol I think i do it. I love a woodstove we had one when i was growing up. Cooked on it alot. Thank you for shairng God bless stay safe and love yall
ОтветитьThanks for sharing, now I need to find someone to do it asap...
ОтветитьI appreciate your video and help. Just for clarification since we are very interested in the Osburn 3500. I am assuming that was 6 full cord of wood and not face cord. But I'm curious about the length of logs you can fit in the stove and species of wood you use to get the results your family has received. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьThat's a lot of wood to burn 6 cords is crazy
ОтветитьGreat video! Did you open either or both optional vents on the side?
ОтветитьThank you for the video. I was just wondering what size face plate did you guy get? I have a fire place very similar to the one you guys have and like the look of yours. Thank you again.
ОтветитьHaven't see you around in a while Eva. This sounds like a pretty efficient fireplace - pretty too. Hope you are well. - Rick
ОтветитьGood Sunday morning Eva. It has been a while so I wanted to stop in a say hello. I’m still debating a wood stove or not in our next house. Your review was great and hopefully our notifications can get hooked back up. Take care and have a blessed day and week ahead my friend.
ОтветитьI want a wood insert so bad but it’s going to cost $7k to get a regency 2450 installed and I’m trying to justify the cost. Our home is 2 story 2,100 sq ft and I’m trying to learn more about if this can heat our bedrooms upstairs. You said yours warms your whole house, would you please elaborate if you have any tips or tricks to get the warm air from the insert around the whole house? Thank you so much for making these educational review videos.
Ответитьgreat video Dave, i love my fireplace....nothing like burning wood to heat the home.....stay cozy mt brother
ОтветитьI love that intro shot of your place! It's beautiful!
ОтветитьVery nice! We have a woodstove and have really enjoyed it. New sub here! Hello from Oklahoma! Looking forward to following your journey. Take care! -Dawn
ОтветитьWood stoves are amazing. Great heat . We had a outdoor wood burner, filled it with 12 nice size chunks lasted 24 hours. The thermostat we set on 75 and left it. Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьHello warm and toasty all winter long!!
ОтветитьGood job. Eve
ОтветитьFifteen years ago we quit splitting and stacking wood for our Ashley wood stove and went to a thermostat control Quadrafire pellet stove. When the power is out it runs of a marine battery. A couple of weeks ago or so we were without power for two days and one battery was more than enough. We do have more than one though set aside. At the other end of the house we have a monitor that runs on kero. You should not run the monitor off a generator because of the motherboard so we don't, but the pellet stove keeps the house plenty warm enough. We wave a Dewalt 7000 generator that holds about 4 gallons of gas... it will run a long time. I think your setup looks pretty darn good to me! It seems to be doing the trick for you two just fine. We only use 1 bag a day at 72 degrees F. We buy 3 ton and most of the time have 1/2 a ton left over...one easy year a whole ton. Enjoyed and will be watching! A very happy new year to you two and your family! Take care!
ОтветитьI am glad you two like your Osburn 3500 Eva and Big Daddy, Hope you had a good Christmas And have a Blessed New Year, Wendy
ОтветитьIt's nice to have wood heat. More work but alot cheaper and better heat. Stay warm. Take care. 👍👋
