I’m glad Sam fired those two self righteous jerks-they definitely had it coming treating Ainsley that way.

I get the impression that West Wing , A great show for many reasons, gets a lot of air time around Presidential.elections as a soft sell that this is how Democratic administration's do their job. It would be wonderful if that were true, but its not. Neither Democratic or Republican administrations are so well done. The sausage of policy does not bear examination nor is it so well done. Its ugly no matter who's in office. I'm going to get m*rdered for this comment, but being a Captain Obvious I have too say it.

I love this series. I watched The West Wing complete series over 4 times and it still hits me with the great dialogue, wonderful actors and solid storyline.

I hate to say it, but Sam is wrong in Isaac and Ishmael. Just off the top of my head, the ANC in South Africa, the IRA in Ireland, and Black activists in the U.S. all succeeded. Yes, there were other political and global pressures but the primary pressure that led to those others was violence.

My biggest problem with these clips is I keep wanting to insert either the few moments before or the next few lines after from the show. I loved this series.

MASH is the greatest TV series ever made. This comes a very close second.

The first scene is from “Isaac and Ishmael” the special episode they aired after 9/11. It was brilliant.

The sheer, unmitigated gall to tell the Deputy Communications Director that he can't fire you. Guy had one braincell at that point, and it was focused on pizza.

The West Wing is my favourite show of all time. I think I have watched the entire series at least 5 times. I can continue to watch this show over and over again.

I miss this show so much. As many here have stated, I watch this over and over.

Why is it President Bartlet casually telling Leo "Cool." in regards to not having to go to prison is one of the most funny things he's done in the show?

The pre-season special they did after 9/11 was one of the most profound and beautifully written script of all times.

I love The West Wing. I always watch a large part of it in an election year. I am not American.

There is a STUNNING red haired young lady in this episode who never speaks, but the camera finds her a couple times. WHY? Was she just a good looking extra or someones client getting some airtime?

I've watch this series 1st run and 3 more times after, every episode I've enjoyed. A great show spanning over decades

Isaac and Ishmael is my favorite underrated episode. It can't out just 3 months after 9/11 and still put the message forth they did, in the height of anti-Islamic sentiment

watching these mash ups I do get a little tired of the Sorkinism of saying "I'm sorry" to get the characters to repeat themselves to clarify....the viewers are smarter than the writers think sometimes

Someone doesn't know the definition of the word "monologue"

This show will get me through the next 4 years.
