your amazing
ОтветитьDont glue it, it need ventilation.
Ответитьif your willing to diy a solar panel, then your willing to buy a used solar panel for less than half the price of a brand new one.
ОтветитьWhat's a French catholic
ОтветитьTop solar panel in the market
ОтветитьIt is the learning moment of creation here that is priceles.. thank you for creating this video
ОтветитьThis is a great example of how cheap solar power has gotten over the years!!!
ОтветитьAbsolute Neanderthal!
ОтветитьThank for The right to learn.I am from myanmar .we need must electric power .
ОтветитьI just tabbed my first two solar cells together six inch square and they have five bus bars on each of them and I tap all five bus bars All was well so I tried to clip off a little Bit of tabbing wire and caught. The cell by accident breaking a little peace well that's the real small Lost not much. This is a bit of work that was my first two cells ever voltage was correct one point two volts 42cellshalfavolteach
ОтветитьPlexiglass in the front face instead of Glass, And Epoxy in the front face of the cells... Really?
Of course it is NOT going to last. This is the worst design you could choose to build one.
This dude is from China right?
ОтветитьNow i wonder if there is really a need to create discrete panel at all? You can probably install them directly on the roof as an array of solder together elements and just slap pieces of glass on top of it, with some spacers/adhesive to actually create a seal. With that aproach it will probably be cheaper than buying a panel. Though this aproach(as well as the shown diy design and installation method) doesn't do amything to cool the actual panel, so there should be a need to combat it somehow(we can probably use a big metalic sheet to elevate the whole construction to create an airgap and use thermal adhesive or thermal paste to mount the actual elements, but i imagine this would negate any possible savings.
Also diy soldering paste can be used to solder them all en-mass, since the components are quite big it doesn't matter that the particle of solder would be all over the place and pretty big.
Good thing to know😊😊😊
Ответитьcouldn't you mount the cells in your windows? or the bottom edge of a car rear window?
ОтветитьNuclear power plant || DIY or Buy
Ответитьso how can you make money building small solar systems? any ideas? can you maybe learn to repair them?. I cant find any solar repair book or course
ОтветитьWhy are your panels installed horisontal?
Ответить"not really" cheap... looking this again in 22 I have to say it: finally it was a first World Problem back then
ОтветитьWhat about spray on solar cells? Is this possible at home yet :)
Ответитьtake a breath sound 8%
ОтветитьHow do I make a PCB File? I want to make one for myself, but I can't.
ОтветитьInsane with panels the prices they are.
ОтветитьScott would it not be an Idea to user glass instead of plastic, do it Will be hard and solid
Ответитьwether it is cheap or not DIY is something that you can be proud of your self
ОтветитьCost of one solar panel is not looking good.
Bulk production is the main reasons that govt loves.
As he said, anytime you want an odd shaped panel you can make your own. Also, anytime you want a different voltage, such as 3 volts, you can make your own.
ОтветитьMaybe using a cheap little spot welder might save time.
ОтветитьWould the US government subsidize some of the cost of DIY panels like they do for commercially made ones?
ОтветитьIf u buy enough to make several it would drop cost but what is your time worth also, great explanation of process it certainly helps understand what an why things are done , thank u
ОтветитьWhat if you didn't need a glass enclosure, alum framing etc. and you could just place the solar cells behind a window? For example, I live in a flat of which one window gets continuous sun for at least 10hrs a day. Might tip the balance in favour of DIY?
ОтветитьThanks! Great presentation!
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьWould building more at once lower the cost?
ОтветитьI think I might use this video as a guide and revise the build a bit, like replace the metal frame with a foldable 3D printed frame and other small tweaks.
ОтветитьIs there an amount wattage at which creating a diy solar panel is cheaper?
ОтветитьCould you pour the resin in the cells individually incase of repair?
ОтветитьIs it profitable or not?
ОтветитьI've seen 100 pics of loose "2 grade panels( small blemishes or tiny chipped corners) for $15 or so.
Not bad.
Then the glass. Pretty expensive. The aluminum channel or "L " angle sections aren't cheap either.
It may be a little less expensive to build your own if you count your labor as free
But I DON'T. SO, I agree.
I've purchased 100 watt panels, Renology" brand I think. For $89 delivered. Not bad.
I have 8 100 watt 12 volt panels, a couple of 250 watt panels, and 2 400 watt charge controllers. My inverters are 4000 watts each with 2
Batt, 4- 6 volt gold cart cart batteries, and 2 12 volt deep cycle RV or boat batteries.
I horse traded, swapped some am.o and a little cash. Total investment, less than $ 500.
I use a pair of 6 v and a single 12 v battery wired in parallel for my TV, DVD Player, a couple LED Lamps and to charge my phones, an 8" tablet, 4 walkie talkies and my RC helicopters and Quads.
The 2and system powers my fridge, a ceiling fan, and I have a 110 v AC dedicated outlet in each room.
So when the power goes out, we have TV/DVD fans and lights in each room from the main system, and can charge the radios and phones off 3smaller system.
Heat. We ha6a wood stove. Can sorta/kinda cookie that. No microwave though. Have a couple propane camp stoves too.
We could go quite a while without power if we had too.
But I'm going to purchase a few more 250 watt panels soon. The thing is, no power, no real big deal.
Lol
Ответитьwhy is the frame of the panel so much deeper than the thinner working part? (PV cells + resin thickness) This is true in the commercial panels also but why? Is it for the right strength/rigidity of the frame?
ОтветитьThis is a comment
ОтветитьHello friend. Where you buy solar ?
ОтветитьAll this epoxy and glue is unpractical. Simply use a layer of clear material on the front and insulate the cells from the back with an insulating panel. Fastening everything with hardware instead of adhesives let's you remove and repair anything much much more easilly. If any of the cells stops working it is easy to remove or replace and doesn't look like a disgusting mess.
ОтветитьBeen needing a few custom pcb, thanks for the source!
ОтветитьBuy waste of time same price
ОтветитьIf your retarded and you dont know how to find the materials for building it cheaper BUY
if you have brain and know how to build it and how to buy materials DIY
