Love your videos! I was searching for some Christchurch, NZ video and came across yours then lead me to this one. Just subscribed!
My husband and I was on a cruise last fall and Ephesus was one of the excusion. I must say that was one of my favorites among Jerusalem and Masada National Park. My favorite juice while in Turkey...fresh squeezed prommergranite juice!!

Visited this place last week not anymore 2 dollars bill anymore. You have to have Izmirim Card with you one card per person with 55 TL balance one way. So If 4 family members travelling 4 cards will be required... insane to me but it happened. Same goes for the return journey back to Izmir

Absolutely love Efes but there are so many other antik cities all over Turkiye, we wonder if one day we would visit them all! Can't wait to catch up with the rest of your videos so we can watch your experiences.
We didn't see the terrace houses there, but it reminds me so much of Zeugma city, near Gaziantep, we just visited a couple of months and it was an incredible place to visit. In Zeugma there are codes that you scan and you can actually see what it looked like in the past.

Yes, Artemis is just a few columns, up and some ruins, it was opened when we went, but I don't think we ever posted it. I can send you some photos if you'd like, just let me know 😊

Awesome to see these trains running to Selcuk. We drove there but if we didn't have a car, def a train would have been our option...well, not now with Nala and Simba, but when we first went 😆
We love chicken wings here in Turkiye, never thought they would be such a great meal until we tried them of course. Love them!
Yen, your mantar and peynir dish is making me super hungry and it is past midnight here 🤣🤣

Dear Pete & Yens.

Thank you make it and do the great Video. Im enjoyed to watch it You & Yens show & you did the very good helpfulness for explain it the information for traveller.

My dreams is for visit to the New Zealand in future. Beauty nature, picture & environmental.

In the New Zealand do mostly the peoples speak in English or do they speak more common to speak in New Zealands own country languages?

My concerning is it difficult to do the communicate in there ? Do many peoples speak in English or does they use the New Zealand countrys own landguage ?

Thank you
From David

Such a beautifully historic city Ephesus. Anyone familiar with the scriptures will be reminded of the book of Ephesians.

Ephesus looks absolutely stunning with the reconstructions, and well worth the delays in the journey.

You did very well to see it in that heat too 🥵

Love your vids, beautiful people in beautiful places. And you guys are so natural in front of the cams, I'm jealous 😂 Speaking of cams, your video quality is awesome. I can see so much detail everywhere you go, really adding to the enjoyment of the scenery (and watching Peter eat). Awesome.

Ephesus is such a stunning ancient ruined city, set in amazing beauty. Being able to wallow in all that history is perfect.

Driving to Ephesus by using public transport only is an interesting experiment. However, the whole city complex enfolds it's magic if you reach it quite early before the arrival of the tour buses - just as you did in Pamukkale. Additional benefits would be escaping the high temperatures of the afternoon hours and accessing the Temple of Artemis. Thank you for taking us with you!

Ah yeah good cheap when we convert that to New Zealand dollars once again! Yeah public transport, how would you rate that compared to Auckland? Yeah great to have friendly locals to help on the train journey! Heck even the signs weren't working then yeah a big shame! Oh ha the stalks on the aqueduct there was so cool, great spot and great view for the birds to spy on food or scavenge from humans! Haha! Yes it's a very ancient city written in the bible too, not that I know too much about that, know a little! I just love seeing these old buildings and its histry! Reminds me of the Blowing Up History series on the Sky TV documentary channels! Yeah just so many wonders on this world that's for sure! Oh heck that moron behind you guys right at the end! Always that one person!

You have seen only 20% of the ancient 'city' of Ephesus. 80% is still underground. :)

…chicken wings (and mushrooms) looked yummmm…but the real question is did they taste better than mum’s 😁? What an ordeal…but glad you guys made it to Ephesus…at least the long travel time made the food taste that much better😁…. Double bummer the gate was closed for Artemis… but all in all looked like an amazing day exploring…and the hat returns!!! Thanks for the great vid guys! By the way, you guys really don’t have storks in NZ?

But don't go to the pub in Paps though it's pretty rough.
