Great video, great topic, thanks for sharing it 👍
ОтветитьExcellent presentation!
ОтветитьWhere can I buy a bobbin washer and a supreme slider?
ОтветитьOf all the FMQ videos I’ve watched (gobs), you are the first to mention the reason for setting the stitch length to 0, and informing the relationship to the feed dogs! Oh my goodness, THANK YOU!!! I’m dashing off to try this!!
ОтветитьLeah, very nice job with your explanations..😉 I'm interested in learning quilting, in particular small blocks, maybe pillow cases, throws. Listening to as many videos as I can find is helping me choose who I can understand better. Thanks for the good instruction...👍
ОтветитьAwesome video! Thank you so sew much! The best tutorial. Question from anyone, what if you don't have machine with needle down?
ОтветитьWow, super video. I'm finally ready to try this. Glad I found you! Great stuff, playlist binging is coming.
ОтветитьIt seems soooo intimidating!!!! I have a bernina q16 and can’t sit to quilt, thanks fir this video I will try it with your video it’s encouraging
ОтветитьGoing to try! Good instructions 😊
ОтветитьThank you for explaining free motion quilting so well.
ОтветитьGreat video for beginners! Super helpful for someone just starting out and getting panicked!
Ответитьdo you sell the items you recommended using?
ОтветитьWonderful teachers and video thanks
ОтветитьLeah what brand of quilting gloves do you use and which ones do you recommend?
ОтветитьI thought you HAD to lower the feed dogs for free motion! Mind blown.
ОтветитьThank you. , I’m practicing a block at a time…😅
Ответитьwhy don't you use a free motion hoop?
ОтветитьMuy clara y optimista tu clase, es frustrante no lograr con la máquina,lo que mis manos desean, voy a intentar practicar mucho más. Gracias.
ОтветитьHello Leah. I’m a new Subscriber. I love the way you explain how to do a free motion quilting, I have been wanting to try this. I feel like I can actually do this after watching your video! Thank you so much.
ОтветитьGreat teacher
ОтветитьI was finding quilting daunting as a beginner. Then I came across your tutorials. WOW, amazing. You go slowly and accurately for any beginner to understand. I’m now off to start my first quilt for my granddaughter (after doing some sample practices). Thank you for sharing your expertise 🥰
ОтветитьCan one quilt on clothing one make?
ОтветитьThank you, Leah. This was very informative and helpful. I’m jumping in! 😁
ОтветитьThank you for such a great explanation!
ОтветитьLeah, what marking pen do you use?
ОтветитьWhat a great teacher. Thank you. I'm not QUITE as intimidated!
ОтветитьYou touched on several things I have never seen in other videos, subscribed today, thank you
ОтветитьThank you so much you have given me the confidence to free motion.
Ответитьwhat type of marker do you recommend for marking patterns for FMQ, and also what brand of bobbin washers? I live in the UK so sometimes products are different and helps to know what others find work well. Thanks
ОтветитьI love yours explanacion! I am like vera, vera much
ОтветитьIf you start full quilt in center, where do you go from there?
ОтветитьHi Leah, I'm new to free motion quilting...so to try to do the stipple design...I use the running stitch? I have the Singer Patchwork sewing machine....I also purchase your block today that had the Stippling design, so I could trace it to my practice block.
ОтветитьHi, what's a good beginner's free motion quilting machine to buy?
ОтветитьWow. What a wonderful teacher you are !! thank you so very much xxx
ОтветитьAre feed dogs down?
ОтветитьThanks, this is very good! I've been afraid to try this...but you've made it seem a lot easier than I "feared"! LOL Thanks for that!!
ОтветитьExcellent video!
ОтветитьBest intro that I've seen. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so very much for all tips! I'm making a baby quilt for a gift, but so anxious about stippling the blocks. The pattern calls for it and looks lovely. I've been practicing on thin drawing paper without thread. I know it will be fine but just can't start on the actual quilt. I keep practicing on practice sandwiches & thread. I need to just do it!😱 I'll keep your video handy as I sew😍💕
ОтветитьThis is one of the best free motion quilting tutorial I have seen
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Really appreciate that you get into such detail. I’ve been extremely hesitant to try my hand at fmq. But after watching this video I think I’m going to try my hand at it! Thanks again😊
Would like to buy the bobbin washer that you showed. Can you please let me know where I can get them from? Thanks
What type of marker were you using to mark on the fabric. Thank you for the great video!!
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you. What brand of gloves do you use for gripping?
ОтветитьLeah, really appreciate your videos, you explain the process in such great detail. Can you tell me the pen you used to write on your fabric? I have had quite the difficulty finding one that operates as smoothly as the one you used. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you Leah ! You are a good teacher !
ОтветитьYou instructions gave me the confidence to try a small mini quilt and use your method. I am proud of the results!
ОтветитьMy Janome 1600P DBX will not let me put the stitch length on zero. If I put it on zero, the upper stitches are not individual stitches- looks like a straight line of thread.
ОтветитьThank you for this. I’ve never heard of bobbin washer.
ОтветитьHello Leah! I have been interested in free motion quilting for a while and have watched other videos, but yours has been the best! Your explanations were easy to understand and I liked how you spoke as you actually did the quilting so I could "see" what you were talking about. Thank you also for the suggestion for additional tools. It's hard for me at age 70 to learn new things, but I think now I can do this. Thank you. I will be eager to watch future videos.
ОтветитьWhat kind of batting do you use for sandwiching your quilt?
Ответить
