i put off a stream deck till lost ark came out, i was using my numpad for the longest time, then found myself accidentally switching scenes when using a hot bar item and went "welp, guess its time for a stream deck"

hey I don't know if you will reply to this but ( i have a good camera already ) I have the money to upgrade to a xlr mic ( podmic / at2035 ) with a Behringer UMC 22 audio interface but I don't really have experience in audio, so I was thinking elgato wave 1 with the software doesn't sounds that bad compared to xlr mic. do I upgrade to xlr or just upgrade to elgato wave ? they are about the same price in my country

Honestly I've been pretty lucky with gear. For a bit I was only using one of my lights, but I've switched back to the full array. My biggest waste was a canon 24mm 2.8, the resolution coming from the canon webcam suite (no camera with clean HDMI and no capture card) was way too low and I can't afford the other upgrades for a clean stream. So I'm going to sell it and grab a logitech stream cam for a reasonably priced 1080p 60fps face cam

If you regret the stream deck you haven’t put the time into learning the advanced stuff and settings it up fully

Love this video, everything you said is 100% true. You got me thinking about the webcam, I currently use my iphone 5s, but its battery is so bad that even with it plugged in the phone dies. I will see what sales there are on black friday. But you recommend c922 over the c920?

I purchased a pack for 1$. It had a banner that I customized using Canva, trying to mimic the other elements included in the pack: Start stream, end Stream BRB & panels.
It looks really pro, I like it, it fits my personality. I think you're absolutely right about investing in a brand. Or at least getting a free pack that looks pro. Not perfect and not tailored maybe but looks way better, esp if no exp in design et graphics.

Okay this has little to do with what I bought for streaming, but I did buy a draw pad that I've never used once. I even installed it's drivers and stuff, but I never took it out of it's packaging.

Bought a blue yeti and it just got all sounds no matter what I did

Recent subscriber, I once bought a onehanded macro keyboard to specificly play games like skyrim, the keyboard had a thumbstick - Logitech G13, to move with controller like movement but still using keyboard and mouse functionality. Turns out that in Bethesda Game Studios games (Skyrim, Fallout) it completely disables keyboard and mouse input when a controller is plugged in. So when I got my thumbstick working as a thumbstick, that were the only thing working. Been gathering dust ever since, bought it when it were brand new - equivalent of $225USD.

Went from using an overlay that Stream Scheme made to deciding to buy a full pack, turn on your stream the other day and realize I bought the same one. I also stream with a slouchie beanie on most times and I think we have the same little LED marquee and I promise I'm actually not just copying you we just have similar tastes I guess

I use very budget items, I usually wait for sales to get things. I use a full sized keyboard and use the number pad as a stream deck haha, got a razer siren x for a very low price, it sounds like a very high quality mic with equalisers of course.
I stream at 720p and people who come into the stream don't really care about the quality as long as its acceptable.

I am not currently using a face cam, its just one of my fears, but maybe down the line if I grow more then I may consider it. I'm growing slowly but still growing and close to affiliate.

I hope many of you people get the success you deserve in streaming, reply with what you have currently, I'm eager to know what others are using.

I got myself a mic arm that attaches to a shelf near my monitor, I have 2 screens, and a good pc, then I use my phone as a webcam on another mount ^_^

i bought a turtle beach stealth 600 and never used it

so I have an ok webcam (microsoft life can HD) but there are rolling lines on it when I stream? does anyone in the comments have a solution or know what's going on?

I have a TONOR-TC-777. It's a cheap microphone and if I get bored of that mic then I'll go with the Samson Q2U.

Not a stream issue, but I own a Steam Controller. Its never been used for a single game session other than install and wondering 'how it works'

Streamdeck is great but Streamlabs have a free app called stream labs deck, it’s been a life saver for quickly switching between scenes and muting my mic while in a game that I can’t tab out of! Super easy to use too!
