I wouldnt get surgery unless its severe. I have it localised on my crown region and its only a couple of noticeable lines. I used ot shave my head and got the odd comment but its manageable, I just have to wash my scalp alot to prevent unpleasant odors.

Could this be caused by outside physical forces? My fiance always thought this came from his football helmet in school being tight. But being that he would have gone through puberty at a similar time my guess is it is actually CVG. Could, the helemt have been a cause?

I have a mild form of CVG. Two lines in a somewhat 'V'-shape. I don't have much hair but still enough to hide it. The only place it's visible is at the top half of my forehead where the 2 lines almost come together in a V-schape. If I see people looking at it, I say ' Nanu, nanu' and twist my ear!

I have this and it’s definitely getting a bit worse. Only noticed when I got my head shaved a year ago. Should i be worried??
