For me, meditation is more about putting good thoughts/affirmations in, rather than keeping anxiety out. Having someone else put affirmations on me (Today will be a great day) is helpful when I can’t muster that myself. InsightTimer has a great free version as well!!!

ОтветитьThank you Tam, I really needed this. I'm a fresh graduate who got right into work after graduation at the end of June, and tbh it's difficult for me to get used to this new life and work. I felt overwhelmed.
Today is especially bad and I squeezed out a reason to take half of the day off simply because I don't have the energy to work or to see my coworkers...I thought this would help me relax a bit but no, right now I lay in bed l, anxious about all the work that's waiting for me when I go to the office this afternoon.
I really wish I could find the work-life balance and motivation for work soon.

ОтветитьI have chronical pain in my neck and my head, everyday feels like this and i dont do anything anymore. I just watch tv and eat and do nothing all day. Every day I feel my life slipping away more and I feel less and less motivated to do anything. Your video gave me a little hope, but the pain is so bad, i dont know if i can do it. Still, i have to pick myself back up and keep on trying to get my life together. With or without the pain. Thank you for your transparency and this video, I will push myself to do everything you mentioned and keep going with my life.

ОтветитьDon't eat a bar of dark chocolate at 9:00pm, silly, or you won't be able to sleep! Don't you know dark chocolate has lots of caffeine in it??? (Technically, it's actually theobromine and not caffeine, but same diff). Unless you wanna have insomnia, I do not recommend dark chocolate late at night; that's more of a morning or mid-day treat.
