How is the gps with this phone

I used to have this phone for more than year, though I loved everything about it but I have to switch to android now, got htc desire 830. The main reason is the facebook, whatsapp apps they keep crashing for me and chromecast does not work at all with it. Will miss you windows phone.

does it play mp4 videos?
