Reasons You Aren’t Getting Matches On Hinge (For Guys and Girls)

I used to get a lot of matches but recently got banned from binge and made a new account with the same phone and haven’t got any could I be shadow banned?

For the people in the comments who are not getting any matches: please try to remember that you shouldn't base your self esteem and self worth on the number of matches that you get on a dating app. Some people are just naturally better presented on these apps than others! If you aren't getting many matches on hinge, or tinder or bumble you might want to consider trying to join some clubs or projects in real life where you can meet real people and try to present your full self that you aren't able to present in your profile alone! Just a thought :)

What if I have like 7 matches on first day then no matches later ?

Luckily, I would have to say I get a lot of matches on Hinge. Most times double digit.

I been on for about 2 weeks now and I got ghosted 3 times so far

I get 5 matches daily and 4 likes. Only one or two of them in the whole month want to continue talking and I am not that excited about them. Those I like most don’t want to talk

Just made an account. I'm an average looking guy who has muscles with a tighter shirt. Not fat, but don't have a six-pack. I have already done most of these. None of my prompts are short and my profile is filled out. I just think I'll try meetup groups that I can find. I've only been on for a couple days and I already feel like it's a waste of time(no I don't only swipe right on super attractive women, I just don't want a fat girl, since if I'm going to put effort in I'd like my SO too as well).

I focused on school got a decent job and never ran for girls, and now I just feel like a loser at 24. Guys, if you feel down and like you're alone, you're not, tons of good regular guys feel this.

I don't know if this is a fluke! I started watching the video @ 11:30pm last night (I haven't finished watching it yet) I decided to make some of the changes you recommend in this video. I woke up to 10 new likes on hinge. That's over night while I was asleep. I'm writing this comment @ 8:45am.

Ladies this advice really works, I swapped out a few photos that were too "done up" to more candid type pics and added 1 answer which was quite detailed it's the "what's your typical Sunday" prompt.

I'm on the free plan, so I used all my likes last night before 12am. I maxed out so today I get the refresh. I haven't had any matches from the men I liked but the day is still young..

As a dude it took me just over a month to get a successful date on hinge. I paid 60$ to get unlimited likes for 3 months. It's worth it if you are a dude. 8 likes a day won't cut it. I got a hot make out session with a girl who came to my house and I have 23 matches as of now still less than 2 months into my subscription. Hinge works for men if you pay I guess.

Apperciate the video, but most guys hardly get any likes and girls seemingly get hundreds even if their profile is basic. It is so frustrating and really hurts your spirit. Ive gotten 1 like in nearly 2 months....😢

Where did you get those stats? These are from 2020: Hinge demographics in 2020 showed a 64% male to 36% female user ratio, which is more equal than other dating apps like Tinder or Ok Cupid. Gender distribution becomes more equal as users’ age increases, with 0% males in the teen age category compared to 4.1% females and 0.8% males to 1.5% females in the 65+ age category.

Seriously considering deleting these apps and even quitting dating in general. It's possible I may not have it in me or what people are looking for or it's just not a good situation/environment right now. I've used these apps for close to 3 years and have gotten next to nothing from them.

I get about 5-10 likes per week guys and I have about 3-4 dates per weekend from the app, get laid all the time thanks to Hinge. All hot girls too - extremely awesome experience so far. Idk what you all are doing.

My issues is that I can’t see any of my likes at all so the only way I get ppl is to like and hopefully ppl match back 💀 in no way am I gonna pay for a dating app subscription to see my likes. They only release one new one every day but if your current ones you can see is matched or X’ed or not in the ‘likes’ page.

lol the data is out , women are going for the top 5-10 percent of men … LOOKS are everything on dating apps … If you’re average in looks on dating apps do your self a favor and get off .. Dating apps are geared toward highly attractive males , and most women The highly attractive males and most females don’t need to buy the premiums or anything like that, they get tons of likes . The group that is losing is the average man.

I get 3-5 matches per day on hinge. Even then the truth is online dating is a waste of time. A lot of women today are flaky and entitled; and men have become simps. Men never take advice on dating from women, they have no clue what they want & their minds change like the direction of the wind. Dating apps create the illusion of having too many options and a false sense of vanity. This video is a waste of time. If you want the best odds of finding a partner do it in person. Join meet up groups, take some classes, join outdoor activity groups, go to social events and parties. Practice your conversation skills by being out in public. If you aren't getting matches as a woman, you aren't swiping right enough.

If you aren't getting matches as a dude, you are just average looking or worse.

In my profile, I’m honest, funny, and I’m serious (filled my profile 100%)! I used pictures to show my interests and personality! I don’t have any negativity, told no demands, and I ask questions at the end of my prompts to get responses from my profile!

I have received matches (a total of 9), but they either ghosted me or just looking for friends.

I have a preferred membership, have boosted my profile, and sent roses. I sent likes with comments, but don’t get much back. The only dealbreakers I have set up are “don’t have children” and “50 miles distance.”

I don’t know what else I can do to find someone. I feel like my profile is set up for success and my friends say, “I’m kind, funny, and outgoing.” Got any tips for me since I’m disabled (looking for men)?

A few years ago I was banned from Hinge with no explanation. So a few months ago I used Google Voice to create a new phone number.

But it will not let me upgrade to premium which makes me think I am shadowbanned. To where my profile isn't showing up for women to see, and the ones I write to aren't seeing the likes/messages.

I get matches regularly on both Tinder and Bumble so logically I should be getting matches on Hinge too. The only logical explanation is shadowbanning which is why I get an error anytime I try to upgrade.

I also got only 1 match every time I create a new profile, the end : (

1-14 matches a WEEK? I'm lucky if I even get one once a month... On top of that there's basically less than a 10% chance they continue a conversation😓😓
