How to organize your Apple Mail inbox & other Apple Mail tricks

I set up a smart folder and the specific emails I want go in there, but they still clutter up my inbox. Is there a way to direct them to the smart folder and remove them from inbox. I have one type of emails i receive alot of and this make it hard for me to see the useful emails.

Just copying them into a smart folder is useless for me, I need a way to declutter my inbox but I still need to receive these emails for my records. Any tips on this?

Just to clarify, the On My Mac folders are not visible on iPhone/iPad? If I create folders on Mac, they will not be synced on my other devices? thx

When I sort my Mac mail alphabetical. And lets say I am on a name starting with A now I want to go to a sender with alphabet D. When I press the key D it doesnt take me. Is this some setting I have to turn it on or this feature is not available. This feature is available on Outlook so was wondering. Thanks in advance
