had the same one the transmitter it used to heat up my phone a lot and i used to charge it overnight and when i wake up my phone is almost Burning hot i didn't know that heat is bad for batteries so over time it ruined the battery of my brand new 1000$ Samsung phone i even once woke up and found the charger melted luckily no fire my phone used to last a full day but ever since I've been needing to recharge it 2 times a day at least i regret getting this i have now gotten a high quality wireless charger with temperature sensors and it never gets my phone hot just slightly warm all that while 10w fast wireless charging the old one was barely 5w

A few years too late for me, I found the same problems in efficiency and had to spend more money on more powerful USB chargers to use the Qi receivers that I installed on everything.

Such a waste of money.

Now I am converting everything to magnetic head USB cables.

One of the suggested videos in the bar thing is a video from 4 years ago, saying how to add wireless charging to phones with another equally as unbranded receiver

Great video. I was looking for videos; on what to do with my QI wireless chargers / DIY projects. Mine says that its 5V/1A (5W). Do you think you should of been using a 1 amp charger, or that doesn't matter? Liked and subbed. Keep the great videos coming. Cheers from Canada. Jay

Not good cheap quality made can blast the battery 🔋 along with phone useless n phone damaging.....it just melted pcb .....it's not for Android phns as it overheated

everyone chasing efficiency but QI wireless chargers getting popular, even good quality wireless charger will not have good efficiency, would like some electrical minded people to test some first party branded wireless charger I bet you will get ~50% maybe 60% max efficiency and that's in ideal alignment of the coils not just dropping phone on top.

LOL! I bought that exact looking charging receiver-pad for my phone. It didn't burn a hole in the packaging but instead (after 2 months of use) would start to heat up the battery (a lot) during a charge and the heat continued until the battery was completely discharged. I'm currently plugging it in again. ;)
