Space X had issues in space after over 300 successful missions. Starliner had issues prior to launch and they launched it anyway !! 🤔
ОтветитьBS title again. Im also unsubscribing now. You guys have fallen to the algorithm.
ОтветитьI've said it a 1000 times SpaceX.Leads the way
ОтветитьYour use of “prototype” is totally wrong. Look up the definition.
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьJust unsubscribed. Too many misleading titles
ОтветитьWe all know why Dragon was contracted, it's because it worked the first time by itself. So why would they trust a model, starliner, that failed every test and still had issues, why did trust it it with live humans? That just baffles me to no end. They should just fill the starliner with space junk and allowed to burn up in the atmosphere!
ОтветитьNASA and the government should stop minimizing SpaceX contracts and play fair. Look at the past contract amounts to NASA, Blue Origin, Locke Martin, and others for failed attempts and the fraction of the amounts when they have to tuck tail and then SpaceX pulls their ass out of a sling🤔🔍Just saying stop blowing money and give credit where it is due!!!
ОтветитьYES
ОтветитьGreat Video ! Nothing NEW ! NASA wrote up the specks in the NASA paper on the CEV ! With the LIDS docking port, you can dock with the ISS, between Crew Capsules or to the HLS ! The Crew Capsules were designed for seven seats and NASA said they will only use four of the seats in the Crew Capsule and also land only four Crew on the moon with the HLS ! The Crew Capsule may have one extra seat already if the Crew Capsule has a W.C. like on the ISS to strap into ! So the only problem is two or three extra seats and how to mount the seats in the Drew Capsule... Also needed are seven air and Comm Port connectors for the Flight Suits ! tjl
ОтветитьAbsolutely no question, go with the proven Dragon when dealing with human life!
ОтветитьWhat is that sound I'm hearing in the distance? Probably the sound of Bezos' and ULA's attorney's keyboards thundering away fabricating new lawsuits trying to force NASA to use Blue Origins vastly superior and proved orbital capsules and launch vehicles instead of SpaceX noisy and environmentally imperfect billionaire's launch toys.
Ответитьit's a good thing we didn't have to rely on Russia they would have hit us for about 20 million each. and of course they would want to bring it down so they can study it on Russian territory.
ОтветитьGreat speech what a joke
ОтветитьIts like we need to develop a space tow truck to accompany the Boeing Starliner every time they launch 😂
ОтветитьIs the Starliner capsule reusable, even if they replace the heatshield? I've never heard this question addressed
ОтветитьYES!
BUT The TITLE of this video and actual statement…misleading man. I expect better for this channel than “click bait” formula
What is wrong with this picture? Boeing is allowed to build a vehicle out of dilapidated junk from their scrap yard and put people on it. It starts with problems, but they continue regardless of the lives they are responsible for.
They finally after years of mishaps and errors, get the "Junk Bunk" to fly into orbit and after hours of trouble shooting, get the thing to dock with the space station. After further examination they find that more of their junk parts are leaking helium, a critical gas used to pressurize the combustion mixtures for propulsion. They calculate the rate of leakage to see if the junk capsule can survive for awhile and decide to play catch up in the desert of New Mexico.
They try to duplicate the problems on the ground and after weeks of research, they still are not sure if "Junk Bunk" will fly home without cooking its guests?
And last, but not least, why isn't the FAA grounding "Junk Bunk" right where it is and forcing NASA to send the Dragon to safely bring them home?
Enough, we know the story, the question is why does the FAA and NTSB overlook this when a small oxygen leak on a new prototype engine hauling SpaceX's own satellites cause it to not be able to deploy correctly give cause to ground the most reliable rocket in history? Having them monitor every step of SpaceX is like having a kindergarten class monitor a physics class at MIT!
This is their reply:
"The FAA is responsible for and committed to protecting the public during commercial space transportation launch and reentry operations," the agency wrote in the e-mailed statement. "The FAA is reviewing the request [by SpaceX] and will be guided by data and safety at every step of the process."
As the adage goes, "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit!" Since no one at the FAA or NTSB has any awards for intelligence, the latter fits well!
Where is the scrutiny of Boeing and NASA? What are their excuses for not criticizing Boeing for not being able to return the capsule with the astronauts. November, and then January cannot come soon enough. Hopefully both agencies will be part of the new, "Saturday Night Massacre"!
As I said, there is something wrong with this picture!
As I understand it the SpaceX second stage is currently grounded right now though. This sounds like bs.
ОтветитьAt this point, I would not get in this thing. Send it back empty & see how it performs. Then decide to send up a new empty one to get the people back 0r ask Space X for help.
ОтветитьI just love Nasa and their space missions which are very special and scientific.
Ответить$267K ?
Is it some joke?
WOW a $267K contract wouldn't even cover the price of a single helmet for one astronaut. You know it costs more then $200 MILLION to get a crew dragon into space.. Just FYI..
ОтветитьYes. Once NASA and Boeing swallow their pride
ОтветитьTotal clickbait. Why not be accurate instead of making up headlines, your channel will gain respect. This clickbait makes us viewers lose respect for this channel and search for something more reliable
ОтветитьTitle is a clickbait lie. Full Stop.
ОтветитьHi Kevin. Affirmative. YES.
ОтветитьHey Kevin. I do really appreciate the fact that you call out problems that need to be addressed. I like you have every confidence SpaceX can and will fix these issues. Sugar coating is not good anywhere except on cookies. Thanks again, Kevin.
david
This is just a study at $267 thousand dollars. This will take weeks or longer to prepare, so not for current Starliner.
ОтветитьThey need to send Dragon to bring our people back and remote return the Boeing Starliner junk and if it burns up on the way back or bounces off into space it will be no big loss. The fact that NASA is still considering trying to bring our people back on an obviously compromised Starliner capsule after the mistakes they made with our shuttle crews being lost because of their screw ups just baffles the mind.
Ответить@great spacex, Elon Musk's Thunderfbirds are GO!
ОтветитьBoeing/NASA should except that SpaceX needs to return their people and then return the Starliner home on emote. If the return trip of Starliner goes bad...would you want people in it ? I do not think Boeing and NASA would survive a bad ending to Starliner with people inside !
ОтветитьElon should pilot dragon by himself to the ISS so that he could drive them home himself.
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьIf it ain’t Boeing, I ain’t going, literally I’m not going anywhere outside of the space station
Ответить$267,000 won't even get u a single family home in many areas
ОтветитьUgh, Falcon 9 hasn’t had “Incidences” . After over 300 flawless missions it had one failure. There’s no plural, it was one.
Ответитьask soyuz team; they are more reliable
ОтветитьThis being true is the a humiliating defeat dor boeing!
ОтветитьPoded
ОтветитьSo why would NASA give so little money 💰 to do an space rescue you would think at least a million dollars for the rescue. I myself think it's an insult for a company that is so great and advanced.
ОтветитьYes Dragan
ОтветитьEmergency. rescue needed. Astronauts life in peril. Please rescue immediately!
Sorry. The FAA will not let us!
I could be wrong, but it seems like they're taking an inordinate amount of time to check out these issues. They can't be that complicated; if so, then I question the design. And I must agree that the title is a bit misleading, and I'm becoming more skeptical about this podcast.
ОтветитьThis channel is a little sketchy sometimes.
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьI don't know where the ludicrous amount of just $267K to rescue 2 crew members for Boeing came from. Space X currently charges NASA around $55M/person based on a 4 Crew flight. There own figures claim the cost of a launch including the Crew Dragon capsule costs up to $140 million so at $55M x 4 = $220M. On top of that they will have to supply 2 space suits for the Boeing crew as the suits they are wearing are not compatible with the Dragon capsule, they will also require a Pilot as neither are trained to operate the Dragon capsule.A figure of 140M + would seem a reasonable cost as
ОтветитьI like to see that you’re still using Clickbait. I was so hoping this would be something other than Clickbait.
ОтветитьThis site is 100% click bait "All hat, No cattle" Last time here. Good riddance!
ОтветитьWhat do you mean "incidents" ??
He's had one flight issue out of 364 previously successful flights...
Name me another Western Aerospace company with a better track record...
Certainly not Boeing or Blue Origin..
I get the sense that there's a lot of Elon haters out there...
You are just a sad pathetic groups losers, still living in your parent's basements..
