Thank you. I’ve been extremely disappointed in watchstrap brands. They all have cheap leather that cracks or multiple thin layers of cheap leather, or they just don’t look good. Basically anything under $100 I’ve been very disappointed in. Except for some solid single piece, classic stitched horween leather straps. Those are excellent. But I honestly do not care if I have to pay $300. I want something that would come straight out of the factory at audemars piguet

In my opinion the best watch "strap" is a titanium bracelet. FKM rubber is good too.

I prefer the aliexpress version of the Erikas. Same hardware, slightly softer and more comfortable elastic material. And they are 5% of the cost. So can buy 20 different ones in different styles to pick between instead of one of hers.

I know Erika has a lot of coverage for her straps. But just the name itself of originals rub me the wrong way.

My stepdad bought me an older swiss army watch, not sure which swiss company makes it maybe Wenger or Swiza, but I was watching this to look for a band upgrade, plus it's to small for my wrist, and a new battery is needed to make sure it works, he got it from half off $7.50 US dollars seemed decent for a swiss watch, looks like what police would wear.

I own a legendary Citizen watch with a 24mm lug width and I love it. It makes the watch to bracelet or strap connection feel so stable. Just the opposite of how a big, heavy watch feels on a narrow bracelet.

I got a cheap true kevlar strap sold under the brand Hedley something, on the pictures it almost looked like the finish would be close to saffiano leather but when I opened the package it was like two stiff bands made out of Tupperware lids. Avoid, even for 40$

Dassari textured FKM rubber straps are another nice option.
Recently have tried the Zulu Diver buckle with the Octopod elastic strap and a few others as well.......very impressed.

Now that they are more established than 2 years ago: Lorier Nato and Regimental options are also quite good, but come in 20mm only. On the plus side, they are very affordable and you can order them with a spring bar tool fitting their watches (albeit, not Rolex, their springbar access is legendarily finicky).

A great strap follow-up to your “2016” video, bravo.. That Melange strap is a must. I personally love switching off my alligators & crocodiles occasionally, on my dress watches, with fine Holbens suede straps to restyle and extend their use for a bit less formal wear. Thank you once again.

The buckle is upside down on the Hadley Roma Crocodile strap.

I hate the extra bump on the nato. Im surprised its the mil spec because I would think it would get snagged on things.
