No, nothing Nick said or did can ever justify Hannah's behavior. Period. If he indeed said she looked like a grenade, that's shitty, but at least he didn't do it in front of the camera. Hannah's just a "mean bitch", her words not mine. It's never ok to discuss sex in front of the camera and divulge such intimate information abour oral sex or his personal journal. Not ok to belittle someone publicly, the way she did.

Hannah seems very sheltered…I grew up in Miami; the Cuban culture is very different than WASP life and it’s amazing, Multi generational households are very common…She not only didn’t understand it, she rejected it outright and was contemptuous of him. I think this masks her actual jealousy that he has the life she didn’t. Rather than welcome such a warm, loving family who would’ve embraced her and fed her the most delicious food on earth imho, she has a superiority complex, hiding immense insecurity and underlying resentment of her parents. Just my opinion.

Why didn't Hannah say all this when she was on camera if she felt that way...especially because she is so DIRECT. All the reasons she gave him were just that he was not mature enough, that he didn't read that one night in stead if watching the game and that she turned him into a boy into a man.

I think they both just wanted to stay on rhe show, both to be as famous as possible. If she is sl direct why didn't she say how she felt in front of the camera? She could have said" Nick you are not the same on and off the camera! But she didn't. She was abusive and she cannot deny, the is no excuse for her behaviour. They weren't attracted to each other amd should have left the show after the trip to Mexico but they stayed as long as possible just to be on the show as much as possible. I have no doubt.

I agree i think it’s weird how much hate Hannah is getting. I will say i wish she offered the grenade comment and famous note examples in less of an accusatory tone towards nick and more of a way to provide context to the audience to show her perspective of feeling like nick was performative on camera vs off. I feel like that would have landed better, instead of coming off as Hannah trying to shift blame or justify her behavior. I think most women can relate to feeling gaslit by a man whose words and actions aren’t adding up, and ultimately no one can argue with her experience or perspective

It was clear from day 1 that Nick wasn't into when Hannah when he called her a grenade. So he was faking it coz he wanted to be famous. She saw 2 versions of him on and off camera. This got her mad seeing that he was pretending to be in love with her for the cameras. This brought the worst in Hannah and the production definitely must've made sure to play on her state of mind for sure. Hannah really wanted to find love as she quit her job to be on this show and she was frustrated that the guy she picked was faking it to be on the show. I don't understand how can people not see this and only focus on how she talked down on him. This was her being reactive from the deceit from him and its definitely not justified. She should've walked out of the relationship when she saw how he was on and off the camera.

Bashing Nick as the bad guy isn't cool, just like the "gang up".
With maturity I'm sure Hannah will learn how to deliver her blunt opinions.

I think Amanda missed the whole plot 🤦‍♀The fact that Hannah wasn't told about his alleged grenade comments until 6 months after filming means they had no reason to come at him at the reunion! Because they used that as an excuse for her behavior towards him WHILE filming but she didn't know then. He maintains in interviews after the reunion that he never said the grenade comment but that he was underwhelmed but guess what, so was she!! And she said it on camera. So how is he the bad guy but she's not?!
