The steelbooks are really beautiful, it's no big news but now I kind of want them all... guess it's a bit late haha
ОтветитьI started collecting in 89, videos then Dvds, now Blu-rays and the German dvds. A great collection 👍
ОтветитьIs “Timecrash” starring David Tennant and Peter Davison included anywhere in your collection?
ОтветитьI don't think the steelbooks will be re-released as they were, but new versions of steelbooks I see happening, especially if they are exclusive to certain retailers, which is often the case. Though they sounded like they dropped the ball on a few of their last steelbooks they produced. Coming from a company that's a shadow of it's former self, refusing to admit their dinosaurs and they are dying as they are now, that isn't really much of a surprise that they have dropped the ball on a few occasions. I don't know where you got the idea of an Eight Doctor collection, where he only appears on screen in the Movie. Well, I guess it's something that may happen, but it would be a massive audio set from Big Finish, with the movie being a bonus since well that's the only piece of visual media the Eighth Doctor has ever been in. That set will probably have the movie on both DVD and Blu-ray, just so both formats are covered if such a thing were to exist, but who knows? I doubt it. Though if Big Finish were to do a complete audio set, it's likely going to be separate from the film I'd say. After hearing you go on singing their praise's, you're a big fan of Doctor Who from the 80's aren't you? Admit it! LOL. Loads of fans do like this era too, even if it was pretty much the "Marmite" era as far the BBC themselves were concerned. Despite having the popular opinion of having the best story ever told in it, the 80's can be seen overall as a "Marmite" era, pretty much hit or miss depending on who you talk too, with opinions being very mixed overall. At least that's the impression I get as a non Whovian looking into the franchise proper.
ОтветитьIf you can get it, the non-canon story "Downtime" would be a good addition.
ОтветитьGreat collection but it really bugs me that you haven't flipped around some of your dvd covers
ОтветитьGreat collection! Loving those steel boxes!
ОтветитьEdge of destruction is criminally underrated

ОтветитьWhich year, make, and model of automobile represents the total £ value of your Doctor Who video collection?
ОтветитьThe Eighth Doctor Collection could just be a collection of miscellaneous Doctor Who previously released on DVD including Shalka and the Web Animations.
ОтветитьI've started my own collection, so far I've managed to get all of new who, Genesis of the Daleks, Earthshock, Unearthly Child, and the animations collection

ОтветитьHello, I'm from America and as such, the way my Doctor Who collection works is weird, I have Season 14, 17, and 22 (or as they titled them in America, Tom Baker Season 3, Season 6, and Colin Baker Season 1), I also have Series 1 on Blu-ray, Series 2 to 4 are a Blu-ray collection exclusive to America (yes it does have Next Doctor to End of Time Part 2, and of course all the Christmas specials), Series 5 to 7 are a DVD collection exclusive to America (yes, it does have Day and Time of the Doctor and of course all the Christmas specials), Series 8 to 10 are a DVD collection exclusive to America (yes it does have Twice Upon a Time and of course all the Christmas specials), Series 11 on Blu-ray, Resolution on Blu-ray, Series 12 on DVD, Revolution of the Daleks on DVD, Series 13 on DVD, and Eve of the Daleks and Legend of the Sea Devils on DVD. The way I bought these, meaning why most of 13's era is DVD and only a couple on Blu-ray, well the order I bought them is Series 5 to 7, Series 8 to 10, Series 13, Series 12, Revolution of the Daleks, Season 17, Eve of the Daleks and Legend of the Sea Devils, Season 14, Season 22, Series 1, Series 2 to 4, and finally Series 11 and Resolution
ОтветитьWhat I liked doing is. Some of my mates are new series and they haven’t seen any classic who. So they come over mine and watch some classic who episodes with me and they enjoy them and write down a reviews on the story. So there’s a few you mentioned in this video
ОтветитьI’m the same with the invasion, it’s the story I put on when depressed and it helps, pat is fantastic and I love it
