First, an orca is not gentle. Yes, here the orca was gentle. But, watch an orca downing a seal as a snack. Not gentle. Second, it is illegal for a person to intentionally place themselves near a whale. This might have been accidental, but the question is...why is the paddler not paddling away like a maniac?

Unlike we humans Whales do not hold a grudge...Mother Nature Rocks.

That was beautiful!! What an experience that must have been. Gentle, giant, INTELLIGENT and curious LOVING animals. I gasped when I saw the second one come into frame.
They both moved so slow and methodical that the person had nearly no waves to accidentally knock it over. That’s just incredible. I hope it shows more people that they’re more curious and intelligent than they thought and deserve to live their lives without fear of being killed. Magnificent animals. ❤❤❤

Do whales tell each other stories of their history? Can they elders relay tales of whale hunting in past centuries? Most whales alive today are in way more danger from ship strikes and propeller slashing. They newest generations have no living memory of the intense over hunting of their species. Are we forgiven?

We cannot even talk to animals with brains as big as humans, so how are we going to talk to space aliens? 😅

It's so amazingly beautiful and scary at the same time, the way the whale give a little push with its fin is too cute, but the size of the animal is scary, if it is a little too playful it can break the mini boat by accident
