I like the design, I like the execution, but please for the love of God, don't cut towards your thigh like he did at the start of the video. I get what he was doing, but one slip, and you're catching your thigh right where the femoral sits. Try to find a better way to cut the bark off. It may be inconvenient, but it's better than the alternative..

Every cut you made is towards yourself. Face, thigh, neck.

I sure hope you dont have any kids you are teaching your HORRIBLE knife control to. I've never witnessed someone use themselves as a knife bench. You must be incredibly slow in the head.

You might want to reconsider using your leg for a work bench. One misstep and you would need an improvised tourniquet.

One slip doing something like that and survival will no longer be in question. The femoral artery is right in line to get slashed after all. Cut it and you'd bleed out in minutes.
