The Darth Vader one is the easiest one to explain. When you quote Darth Vader, you say "Luke, I am your father" because it communicates everything you need to communicate in that moment without extra lines. If you say "No, I am your father" you need the set up of what Luke says before for it to make sense. Conversely, the set up doesn't really work with the 'Luke' variant. Why say his name there? 'No' makes more sense. And so with people quoting it that way over and over to people who hadn't watched the movie, it becomes cemented in culture.

This isnt true there is evidence of the movie Shazam. Me and my parents got into it over this retarded kids movie. My dad kept saying it never existed while i layed out an incredible amount of info about the movie. Its story line. Even down to what sinbad was wearing and how how everytime he said Shazam it would echo out like he was being heard throughout the Universe. It’s just how he talks, having a low IQ and being from the south where there was a lot of slang and improper use of certain words. That’s why it’s so misquoted. When you look at these collectively and are someone who is deeply affected by this phenomenon, it really looks like someone is screwing around. Some of these lines were the key lines in the movie - it's like these important, central lines were changed deliberately. But why? And by whom? Imagine a species that exists outside our dimension and can't communicate with us in any conventional ways, would they do something like this to alert us to their presence or to attempt to say something? There must be a reason behind these changes.
