Will Low Sensitivity Make You A Better Player?

Umm my csgo edpi is 228, 1200dpi 0.19sens. I'm pretty insane with the SSG. Everyones "low sens" is double if not more than what I would consider normal

in the val clip showcasing high sense. he couldve done the same thingwith low sense. he never really had a gnarly 1 kill flick across the screen for the second. every angle he flicked to was already on his screen

Asuna's sens is still in the "low sens" catagory for Val with most being 200-400edpi. His is only 363 eDPI, lol. It's on the higher end, but still low sens.

mannn i play at 4000+ edpi 10X more than what said to be high but I still ace in valo and my 360 flick is awesome idk how I didn't know I was using this high sens
cm/360 is my 3.1 cm while they have like 30-40 cm shheesh I posted this in reddit and they called me crazy

DMITRI, bro! eDPI LITERALLY is the sens * the DPI, the settings website GOT IT RIGHT, YOU're in the wrong! eDPI is different for each game, that's why you can't compare them across games.
Just because CSGO is your favorite game doesn't make it the ground truth!

I play some tac shooters on the side, and I just can't stand low sens. Coming from afps and Doom I'm just not used to such low sense and gameplay, I still try to adapt because there is really no point in having high sens in tac shooters since you are holding angles 90% of the times anyway

I play a lot of apex, and ive found that a very low sensitivity(1.4 @ 400 dpi) is good for me

Ingame sense (Valorant): 0.175
DPI: 800
PR: 1000Hz
eDPI: 140

Once I get used to low sens, i get bad. Switch to high, get good.
Once I get used to high sens, i get bad. Switch to low, get good.
Repeat.

I'm far from a pro🙂but I'm definitely lower sensitivity on my ps4 and slower paced and use aim assist🙂but even when aim assist fails🙂I can still scent and take out whomever comes into my path🙂I'll also flick a bit chase the enemies crossing my screen and take them out and run and dart if I have to retreat🙂I also am very patient with hunting on rdr2🙂I'm learning how to stealthily stalk my prey and get headshots on the animals for a clean kill🙂so I'm definitely more stealth based with a mixture of darting out of sight and can pick up on my enemies🙂I've never practiced enough to get better🙂but I have so much natural potential and potentially a gift and a natural gaming intuition in general🙂

The problem is high sens will screw your wrist up in the long term and give you RSI. I wish I could get used to lower sens but it just never works the way high sens does for me.

So you are basically saying Im a freak for playing 1,8 at 2000 DPI in CSGO. for me thats 19,5 cm for a 360. My rule is that I want to do a 180 with a comfortable swipe.

I play with low sens on wz2 and i find it much easier to track targets, control recoil and many other things when shooting, i also tend to snap onto targets more easily.

edpi is not universally applicable to all games whereas cm/360 is. Please only ever use cm/360 ^-^ thank you <3

There is no perfect sense, there is only what we become accustomed to using, and we can become accustomed to any sense from a 10cm 360 to a 50cm 360, it only takes a few games.
Humans adapt really quickly and change aim type between arm and wrist, and change grip from palm to claw without even knowing they are doing it.

The old 400 DPI standard is nothing more than the fact it was very similar to the old ball mouse we used in the early days. And the 400DPI has been proven many times to be less accurate than higher dpi's which give diminishing returns once they get to about 3200, talking mouse accuracy here not human accuracy.

I have always been using high sensitivity due to a restrictive desk space. Wrist movement all the way. But now that I want to transition to a bit lower sens and just can not get used to that somehow...

I play CSGO with eDPI of 1600, i used to play with even higher sens couple years back. I have always played with a small mousepad so thats probably one of the reasons why i like playing with higher sens, and i also like using mostly my wrist and not my whole arm when playing.

This video is a bit of a waste of time it just keeps reiterating that there are pros that have high sensitivities and they can be quite successful if if they're comfortable

1) Put your mouse into the middle of mousepad.
2) Make sure that from the middle of your mousepad to the very end of either side, you can turn yourself about 200°.
3) Getting used to it.

Good on you guys for including cm/360 and covering all your bases overall in general. There's always a stigma that well produced videos like this will have uninformed opinions, but I think you guys consistently do well to break that idea.

i get made fun of because i use a 2500 dpi, with usually .5-.7 as in game sens, with my windows sens at about 7. when my friends try they ask me how the fuck i play like that, my answer is and always will be "because i'm used to it, and it works for me."

stuck in silver for 1200 hours at 2.05 800 dpi. swit hed to 2.05 400 dpi and moved to gold nova master in 1 week

I use low sens and I'd say yes, because it makes over-aiming less likely, if you can get the cross hair placement down, I'd say give low sense a try it, you might be surprised

You can achieve high sense plays with low sense if your built like a baseball pitcher lol

CSGO is more fun for me at high sens and I got used to it. Movement is more enjoyable, the game feels a lil faster.
