Truly am amazing bird, it is still flying strong all over the globe. The DC-3 has been flying passengers and cargo since 1935. Truly unmatched.

Thanks Roman for sharing this video. As a kid, I grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia. I loved to visit Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport (BAQ) every chance I had. As a teen, I became friends with the mechanics that worked for a cargo airline that still flies called "Aerosucre". Back in 1977, it had C-46 Commandos flying out of BAQ to all those Islands in the Caribbean, including Martinique, Aruba, Curazao, Bonaire, and many others. The DC-3 is a contemporary classic airliner when the C-46 was flying, those are memories. Again, thanks for sharing this video. Fly safe!!! Semper Fi

Such a beautiful plane. It is clear that they are proud of her.. Where did you attach the camera? Is that an existing socket for an optional equipment? And is that a standard practice for this plane to start the engines while somebody ready with fire extinguisher? Thans for the video. I truely enjoyed it.

When the pandemic started the few companies that operated them were having trouble getting insurance for the DC-3s. I'm very glad to see they sorted that out

When I was in the Amazon in the early 60's there was a PBY and a Ford Trimotor operating there, along with copious DC-3's.
