Rei's love for her measures no boundaries. Love are all equal no matter what. All throughout the movie I keep feeling sorry and hurting to the women who suffered from physical abuse and there's no Rei who'll save them

So technically it's a movie about Lesbo! Ok.

Their acting was so real! I got so much emotions watching this Movie❤️ I'm inlove with these two I can't wait for the Part 2. Please? My favourite scene when they took her brother's car and ran away together yet still Rei chose to do the right thing which is to surrender she didn't want to see her first love suffer from the husband. There's a lot of lessons we can get from this movie. This movie deserves Part 2! Please?
P.s the love making scene was so breath taking and thrilling I was thinking they really did it for real hehe rooting for part 2 please.

i've only started watching, and tbh i was literally shocked to notice how brutal this film is with its explicit violence and sex scenes. thought it was going to be a romantic movie suitable during breakfast in the morning and not a thriller or so haha. 😂😵‍💫 will it remain violent like that?

Umm I read the manga the movie is based on in the past and the vibe of this film doesn't match the manga at all 💀 not saying it's a bad thing or anything, but it's just that the manga has much darker vibe.

Ok, just to get some confusion out of the way, this movie is not an adaptation of the other Read or Die you’re familiar with. This is not about a girl obsessed with books able to manipulate paper and use it during combat, this is based on a completely manga series called Gunjo. Why is it named after Read or Die then? Idk.

This story got to the heart of so many wounded individuals and many relationships when it concerns loving and giving ourselves to someone else!. Such a wide range of emotions as well as a an example of what some of us are willing to do in the name of "love". I will not judge the story's toxicity as that would be too long and besides the point I'm sharing here. We cannot just look at one but everyone involved surrounding both women. Everyone in their lives contributed to their lives throughout - some good and some not. We act according to those emotions and we often suffer because of what we cannot see and observe which is crucial for our well being specially in the moment of some overwhelming and crushing feelings and so - we seem to concentrate on just those emotions. Of course, this put us in precarious and unhealthy relationships and even can keep us there. These two young ladies were delightful in their acting, the full on surrendering they gave to their roles. At times, I knew this was just a movie but other times I was so involved and let myself get carried away with their emotions. Very professionally produced, presented and the sincerity and the tender moments through the whole film was successful in order for us to actually see that there was hope for them after all and left me satisfied and pleased that I spent my quality time with them. Thanks.

THE ENDING I CANT- 😭

I watched the movie twice. I had to repeat because the first time was english dubbed and it felt like I was not able to completely absorb it.

The second time which is already in japanese, hits differently that it got me emotionally carried away right off the bat. It's honestly overwhelming.
I really wanted to cry as they cry but my tears don't come out and it literally made my chest feel so heavy.

Then I realize that I've watched the movie twice already but I haven't seen its trailer so I searched for it here on YT and daaaaaaamn. I finally burst into tears. The song "Maybe It's Okay" gives it more impact. I didn't know that watching the trailer after watching the entire movie could be that painful.

I felt really bad for Mika. She really did love rei and it was only a one sited love. She deserved a lot better :/

This movie is so tense, each scene of these two will make you twist your emotion. And the acting is superb, i did not expect this from JP drama. Love it

Disgusting, I guess new type of homophobia. Just show one lesbian character, which goes around having sex with men. Netflix is making movies in name of lgbt representation but in reality they are selling it to perv. Hardly watched 15 mins of this disgust, stopped as soon as lesbian character started crying because she "lost her virginity at 29". Why she never had sex with her gf. This is defination of virginity for Netflix, when it's only between man and woman not something related to your first experience irrespective of gender. This sentences which was so disgusting itself showed this LGBTQ representation is another drama by Netflix, they just want to show subtle homophobia. Disgusting representation again
