Is 10600k good for ultra setting games 1440p?

Pricing NOV.2020 in US:
10600K: 260$
9700K: 200$

i5 1100k will be alot better than the previous i7 10700k because they'll move to 10nm

currently at micro center, i5 10600k is $260 and the i7 9700k is $300. which one should i buy?

If you have a i7-9700k keep it for another year before upgrading. Not worth the expense unless tinkering is something you also enjoy.

The problem with these benches is that he’s not actually stress testing the CPU. He’s stressing the GPU too much. So these CPU’s are all within the margin of error. He’s running on ULTRA which is heavily GPU bound.

As an i7 9700k owner, this video makes me sad haha
My only consolation is that I bought it when it launched so like it made sense back then aha
