Ответитьhey man love the info on this video so far i’ll definitely sit down with it better soon! do you have a video on how you got to this point? (noob here) like before bouncing my track, whereabouts should my db be at? and what format would be best? thank you
ОтветитьWhere is RMS window bro ? Where is Expanded ? I have different window design

Ответитьawesome content man thanks so much for your help
ОтветитьDo You have to create a separate Track which u have to use for the effects?
ОтветитьThanks for this Sean. Started producing 3 months ago and this has saved me time and I’ve literally followed your method step by step and it works. Thanks once more man. I really appreciate it

ОтветитьLandr ain’t getting paid from me no more..thanks bro
ОтветитьHOLY SHIT THANK YOU
Ответитьincredibly helpful. thank you
ОтветитьWhere did you get the RME?
ОтветитьHow do you export your mastering? Do you bounce again like you do on the mix or not? thank you man
ОтветитьThanks man this is soooo helpful.
Btw can you recommend any cool plugin to use instead of Spreader?
Why would you roll off the extreme highs, it's not like they're making the mix any less clear, especially if not much is going on you want to preserve as much energy as possible.
ОтветитьThis vid helped me a lot, BIG UPS!!! 🙏
Ответитьcheck my singles in my profile or cmaina_music at soundcloud. Mixes and masters product of Sean Divine's tutorials and others, thanks
ОтветитьWhat do you think about the Slate fgX for mastering? And also do you leave about -6db headroom for mastering? And does that mean -6 on all tracks or -6 on peak levels on the volume output? Thanks
ОтветитьCongrats on 100k
Ответитьthanks bro!
Ответитьis it worth mastering beats before vocals are added or is it better to wait and do it all at once?
ОтветитьSo i got a few of these plugins on my vocals before tha mastering step does thats effect it
ОтветитьGreat video, but when I use the adaptive limiter, I try & turn up the gain like you did to raise the RMS level of my track but it makes it sound gritty & disoriented, any help would be appreciated!
ОтветитьSo helpful thanks a lot!
Ответитьhow should i export after my master
Ответитьyer where can i donate to ur channel
ОтветитьThank you, Sean.
ОтветитьOnly just found this video. Legit saved me. Great tutorial!
ОтветитьWhat’s up Sean. I got a bunch of questions from this vid if you have a min to go through them. I’ll separate them to keep it neat
1)why use a limiter? Why not just raise all the track volumes together?
2)do you always set the ceiling on the gain plugin at 0.1? If so why?
3)can you get away with just using rms and not use lufs just for simplicity sake? It would be one less thing to worry about. If so, did you say it’s just good practice to keep it at -8 for the whole track?
4)is this video applicable to any genre for the most part? How may it differ?
5)what is mandatory in the mastering process? I know everything is highly subjective with music but what would you say is objective? I assume one thing would be that the music needs to be at a certain dB to compete. I assume theres some other things as well. Could you break it down?
Hope you can answer these when you’re free. No rush. Whatever you have time for is appreciated.
Awesome video Sean. 👏 👏
ОтветитьYour vids are sick
