Hi, Dr. V, Thanks for sharing the valuable information as a physician and an epidemiologist I recognize and agree with your population specific skin care approach. There could be so much variation in the pharmacological mechanisms of these treatments based on several factors but particularly ethnicity(which is very relevant to the skin type) I wouldn't be surprised to hear the popular OTC treatments are not tested on a diverse population. I wonder if you are conducting/ plan to conduct clicinal trials of the treatments on PoC? are there any approved studies already?

Does anyone know if you wash off the exfoliator after?

Hey, I'm using 7%glycolic acid and have diluted it to3%
My question is should I use it everyday or just twice a week?
I also use niacinamide and sunscreen in my day routine

Iam mother from sri lanka. I do follow your videos and really appreciate the explantions you give on skin , the product's and the ingredints in them.
This is regarding my daughter's use of paulas choice BHA 2% exfoliater. This is the first time she is using this product as per the prescription of a Dr. She has open pores + a congested skin. So she needed a solution and got advice to use BHA and retinol. BHA for 3× a week and retinol 1× week. After few days she got pimples of on her cheek bones and the chin area. I want to know whether it is a normal condition or is she showing allergic reaction to the product. Before using she had skin with no breakouts.please help me how to fix this matter.

I got a brown mark around my cheek after using peeling solution and got tan around my forehead never had acne my whole life but then had small bumps all over my face my skin got worse and worse after each and every application i was very confused because all i know is peeling solution for dark spots and pigmentation now i know why but after using loreal glycolic bright my skin revive again
