Can a Canon printer MX532 be connected to my MacBook Air? Do I have to download an APP called AirPrint?

I don't understand how to connect a printer or keyboard to a MacBook Pro that has no usb ports. Even with wireless you connect to set up and/or use a fob. Any help will be appreciated.

For those of you who may be having trouble finding the IP address on your laptop: On my printer (I have an HP OfficeJet 6958), I found my IP address by clicking the middle icon that is below where it says "Scan" on the screen of my printer (the icon should look like wifi connecting). After clicking on the wifi connecting icon, it should say "Wireless" at the top of the screen. The IP address should be listed just below where it says "wireless," along with providing your network name, what type of computer you're using, and your host name. Hopefully this is somewhat helpful for yall! I finally got my printer connected thanks to this video!!!! Thank you so much!

If you still have problem printing even after the installation of printer drivers you can give a call to the Apple Support @ 1888-924-8191 .They are instantly available .hOPE IT HELPS.

important note: the printer needs to be in same wifi connection as the MacBook
